Dr. Donlevy grew up in Southern California but spent a number of years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well. He returned to the southern California area where he attended the University of Southern California. He was accepted into the USC School of Dentistry after only two years of undergraduate work, completing his D.D.S. in 1990 and graduating number one in his class. After graduation, he enrolled in medical school at Vanderbilt University, obtaining his M.D. in 1993. He completed a one year internship in General Surgery at Vanderbilt. His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency was also completed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1996 and he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1999. Dr. Donlevy began private practice in his current location in 1996, offering the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, dental implants and oral rehabilitation, head and neck pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery. Dr. Donlevy is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is married with four children and is an active member of the local South Bay community.
Dr. Estess is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a graduate of Stanford University, where he obtained his degree in Human Biology. He then received his dental degree from the University of Southern California. At USC he graduated at the top of his class and received multiple awards including membership to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. His passion for surgery led him to the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, where he received extensive training in the areas of maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, dental implants and oral rehabilitation, head and neck pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery. As part of his residency, Dr. Estess also trained with the highly regarded Head and Neck Surgical Associates in Portland, OR. He then entered private practice at his current locations in 2011. Dr. Estess is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. As a California native, Dr. Estess has made the South Bay his home. He maintains an active role in the community and multiple professional organizations. In his free time, Dr. Estess enjoys surfing and spending time with his family.
As a southern California native, Dr. Lohiya is excited to serve the West L.A. and South Bay communities with their oral surgical needs. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UCLA and then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. During this time, she developed an interest in surgery and the rehabilitation of patients with oral disease, and participated in several volunteer trips to provide dental and medical healthcare abroad. She subsequently completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Washington in Seattle. During her training, she authored several abstracts, book chapters, and journal articles. She was recognized for her commitment to teaching and providing excellent patient care. Dr. Lohiya is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has a comprehensive background in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, infections, trauma, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, and both benign and malignant pathology. She currently serves as a Clinical Instructor for the UCLA School of Dentistry Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is active in local leadership as a voting board member of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, cooking, and exploring beautiful southern California.

Dr. Estess has a wonderful bedside manner and prepped us thoroughly for what was to come. He also checked in with us after the surgery and was again careful to explain the post surgical care and made us feel very reassured. The surgery went smoothly - four wisdom teeth - and the recovery smooth and speedy! Highly recommend this practice.

I was referred here by my dentist for an implant replacement. Dr Donlevy was very thorough in explaining the entire process and responding to any questions. He even threw in a bit of humor to relieve any anxiety on my part. I found him and his entire staff friendly, professional and efficient. And oh yes, both procedures were successful and painless. Great experience!

I've had two implants performed by two different oral surgeons in the past, and two more recently performed by Dr Estess. Dr Estess, by far, is the best. He and his staff made every stage of the process seamless. He's professional, great "bedside manner," explains everything, and has mastered pain management. I never had any pain. If you want a great oral surgeon, I highly recommend Dr Estess.

i've had two different experiences with dr. estess that have both been amazing ! just got all 4 wisdom teeth out in sort of an emergency situation -- he found a way to get me in for a consultation & surgery within 2 days which is already amazing ! but i also had no complications and have had little to no pain entirely. hoping i'll have no other reason to come back for any teeth extractions, but also sad i'll never see him again!! thank you thank you !! and also thank you to all the nurses who were extremely friendly & helpful

Very professional and great customer service! Had my doctor in Temecula and was scared of switching dentist, but they took great care of me and after a week of my wisdom teeth extraction I am feeling great and eating my normal food again. Yay!

Dr. Lohiya was extremely professional and went out of her way on a Saturday night to call and check on my father, who had his wisdom tooth extracted earlier that day. My father had an infection in his wisdom tooth and needed it extracted as soon as possible, their appointments were booked for at least a week or two so Dr. Lohiya made herself available on a Saturday morning. He didn't even feel anything during the extraction and was especially happy he didn't feel the numbing shot. He is a senior citizen and a heart patient. Dr. Lohiya made sure that to check in with his cardiologist to make sure the procedure wouldn't effect his condition. Ashley the receptionist was fabulous as well. We are very happy with the entire experience at Donlevy, Estess & Lohiya Oral Surgeons office.

When you have a scheduled appointment, you can feel confident that your scheduled time will be honored. The staff always greet you with a friendly smile. Dr. Estess is the best oral surgeon I have known in my 73 years. Always willing to explain his procedures and offers the most pain free results I have ever experienced. He definitely deserves more than five stars, because he is absolutely the best.

We love Dr. Estess! So kind and patient. He takes the time to explain things and gives you options. My daughter has a HUGE fear of needles and he is the only one she is comfortable with. Very efficient and great bed side manner. The ladies in the front office are great too! 100% recommend!
