Raul O. Franco, DDS grew up in Colorado Springs and earned his bachelors degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He earned his Doctor of Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medicine College of Dentistry. During dental school Dr. Franco commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force.
After graduating from dental school he was promoted to the rank of Captain and proceeded to serve 4 years on active duty. Dr. Franco completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the United States Air Force at Offutt, AFB in Omaha, NE. During his residency Dr. Franco completed over 150 hours of advanced education expanding his skill set to include dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, wisdom teeth removal, root canals, and a variety of advanced surgical procedures. After residency he was stationed at McConnell, AFB in Wichita, KS for three years. Serving his country remains one of his proudest accomplishments.
Dr. Franco is married to Allison Kern, DDS who grew up in Hastings. They recently had a baby boy! They could not be happier to be working together and starting a family in Hastings. It is an exciting time for both of them and they feel blessed to be part of this great community. They are excited to become involved and support the community.
Dr. Franco is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the Southeast District Dental Society. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients and believes building a relationship based on trust with his patients and their families is essential. Integrity First is an Air Force core value that he is committed to upholding at all times and under all circumstances for his patients and the community.
During their downtime Dr. Franco and Dr. Kern both enjoy outdoor activities especially boating, water skiing, and wakeboarding. Dr. Franco loves bowhunting, grilling, camping, and spending quality time with friends and family. They live an active lifestyle of biking, running, golfing and hiking. And of course they are both Husker fans! GO BIG RED!

Went in as an emergency tooth ache...Dr.Beur worked his magic and took care of the problem...He was very polite and caring and the assistant was also polite...He explained what was going on the whole way..All in all 5/5

We've been going here for years and I felt I should write a review in response to the other couple of negative reviews on here. Everyone here is so nice and very helpful. I've had multiple issues with my insurance over the years and they've always been very patient and helpful with resubmitting things and explaining what needs done. Never rude. They've gone above and beyond with my kids. We have other family members and friends that also go here and they all love it. Dr. Bauer has been great.

On few occasions I went in to have cavity work done and had to go back again because I was in pain on the tooth they just "fixed". The last time I was ther I had work done on a tooth they said had a cavity in it but I had no pain or anything but not it hurts to floss around that tooth

I would of gave this place a higher rating if it wasn't for the front office lady. I have been here one time. When I went she was rude to me but not to my husband. I just blew it off. Today she realized I messed something up with my insurance which was absolutely my fault I told her sorry I didn't know that one was my primary and one was my secondary and she kept on by saying well you need to be more clear when your seen by someone and if this don't go threw cause you don't really have this insurance your going to have to pay for it and we aren't going to send these xrays over until we know for sure this insurance is going to pay for your services. The call lasted 3 mins before I got tired of being talked to like I was a pos for making a mistake before I hung up. We will never go back here! Customer service sweet heart and you are horrible at it.
