Dr. Nista grew up locally in Oakmont after his parents moved their family to the Pittsburgh area in 1973. He attended The Pennsylvania State University at State College, PA, and in 1990 received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, with an emphasis on Vertebrate Physiology. After receiving his D.M.D. degree from Southern Illinois University in 1994 he completed a General Practice Residency program at the Veterans Affairs Medical center in Dayton, Ohio. After practicing in a Native American clinic out west, Dr. Nista came home to Western Pennsylvania. The Donegal Dental Center was opened in July of 2016.

Receptionist and dental assistant need a medal for working in this disgusting toxic environment. The receptionist and dental assistant are professional, friendly, and need a better work environment. The Dentist, Dr Niste, and his "wife" waltz around the office with extreme arrogance and a false sense of entitlement. The dentist enters the exam room, no introduction, an air of arrogance that tangible. I self admittedly admit that I have poor dental care, and for that I take ownership. I was charged for a service, that my insurance company verified that is covered at 100% I was not allowed to leave the office until I paid the bill...a bill which was erroneous. I demanded a return of my money and the dentists wife, who is equally sarcastic and condescending as the dentist , simply said no. I give props where they are due...the dentist seems to have skill, if you can tolerate horrible bedside manner, cocky and sarcastic condescending nature.

I never had such a wonderful experience at a dentist office until I went to Dr. Nista. The staff was absolutely phenomenal and the options that I was given for my treatment was totally amazing . no one has ever given me that many options for the treatment that I needed done usually it's one option and that's it not at Dr. Nistas office . the options are given to you and the payment plans are also given to you as well . Thank you Dr. Nista and your wonderful staff I can't wait to have my treatment done and my smile back again.

Yes Dr. Nash has no bedside manner's towards a mid age male! I had a 30 second visit and he is very short rude not very nice . The nurse in there she is super nice she deserves a raise! They was all very nice except him the two pretty ladies behind the counter the Russia accent and the little brunette are very nice. They should be the dentist not him. Also no medical advice on what to do post appointment nothing I mean come on really ain't that why he's paid big money by all the insurance companies to

I had the best experience at Donegal Dental Center. I've been there previously for teeth work and this time I had to bring my two kids under six with me and the staff and doctor were so kind to me and my kids. I was visiting about cosmetic work for my smile and the doctor did such an amazing job- I was smiling all day. After our visit the staff gave my kids some toys. Everyone was wearing masks and the visit was really great.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nista for about three years now during which he has installed two new crowns and one large filling. He does excellent work and he has my highest recommendation. I have also had my teeth cleaned several times and the Dental Hygienist was very thorough each time.

I had broken my tooth late on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Nista and his staff agreed to see me and stayed past their closing time to take care of it. The professionalism was exceptional and the results were amazing.

great dentist! i was looking for an emergency dentist because I had a severe toothache and I found Dr. Nista at Donegal! I had a great experience and he helped me right away. Dr. Nista is experienced in dentistry and he has really good bedside manners! I highly recommend Donegal Dental Center!

My rear left molar broke, and since we full-time RV, it's hard to find a dentist. Donegal Dental Center was able to see me and fixed my tooth in the same visit. Dr. Nista and his staff did a great job at a reasonable price.
