Dr. Kenneth W. Donaldson graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1980 and served 20 years as a dentist in the U.S. Army Reserve and Air National Guard. He married his wife Kathie in 1977, has 5 children, and two grandchildren. He has practiced in Lumberton since 1991.
Dr. Donaldson was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1989 and having completed over 1400 hours of continuing education was awarded Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2014 . He has acquired much of his continuing education at the Pankey Institute focusing mostly on esthetics, occlusion and TMD/TMJ treatment. A continual student, he is a member of the local chapter of the Seattle Study Club and a member of The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
When Dr. Donaldson has free time he enjoys travel, vacationing with the family, photography, classical and jazz music, reading history, economics, philosophy and theology, along with car and lawn maintenance.
Elyseis a Registered Dental Hygienist and has worked for Dr. Donaldson for 14 years. Being a Registered Dental Hygienist allows her to partner with our patents in helping them to achieve optimal oral health, as well as creating a rapport and genuinely caring for the people and families that she has come to know and has the privilege of serving. She has obtained her license to administer local anesthesia, which helps her ensure that her patients comfort is achieved during advanced care visits. She is married to Tommy and they have three children Alex, Alyson and Emily. In her free time she is always busy with her childrens activities or enjoying the outdoors with her family. Family camping has become a passion and they enjoy exploring new places in their camper together.
Kimis a Registered Dental Hygienist and joined our team in 2015. Kim has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She began working as a Registered Dental Assistant before becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. Her experience and background in the dental field allows her to educate and partner with our patients to help them achieve optimal oral health. Kim is also licensed to administer local anesthesia which enables her to ensure that the comfort of her patients is achieved during their advanced care visits. She is married to George and the have five children Jonathan, Kameron, Brieana, Lexus and Brayden. Kim enjoys running and she and her family are active in their church and enjoy camping together.
Laurenis a Registered Dental Assistant and has worked for Dr. Donaldson for over 16 years. Her experience in the dental field chairside and administratively allows her to engage and educate our patients through dental treatment options and procedures as we work to help them achieve their optimal oral health goals. Lauren is expanding her knowledge of Dental Sleep Medicine to support our patients in this expanded area of our practice. In her free time she enjoys learning new cake decorating techniques and styles. Her daughter Releena keeps her busy with all her 7 year old activites including; dance, gymnastics and swim lessons.
Ashleyjoined our team as our receptionist and is licensed in dental radiology. Ashley is ready to answer your questions regarding scheduling, insurance and dental procedures. She is also trained to assist Dr. Donaldson chairside. In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
Coryjoined our practice Summer 2018 as a receptionist. She brings a great deal of enthusiasm to her work. She is quick to tell you she has been a patient here since she was a child. She and her husband Dave are expecting their first child.
Deannais our newest receptionist. She recently moved to New Jersey from Delaware and brings experience in both education and banking. She and her husband Jeremy are working on changes and upgrades to their home in Bordentown.
Jamilyn has been with us as a dental assistant through the years as her different school schedules and extracurricular activities allow. She has finished her Education degree at Eastern University and is completing a second degree in Spanish. Jami is especially enjoying Track and Field as a runner and long jumper.
