I recently had an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction, Dr. Phillips was informative but I decided to cancel my appointment because of the customer service I received from the front desk. Specifically from the service of a receptionist named Sharon, there was some miscommunication about my insurance coverage that I was trying to resolve. When I was relaying information from my insurance company ,Sharon came off discourteous and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain. Even my interaction with Sharon for my consultation was displeasing. As someone who works in customer service, I hope the staff improves on making the the clients feel more welcomed and inviting.

Dr Phillips and his whole staff were incredible with my 92 year old father . My dad had an emergency situation and Dr Phillips squeezed him in even though he had a full scheduled day. He was understanding and so compassionate with my dads situation. The front desk are some of nicest people and they were so kind to us . The experience here was amazing. Thank you Doc and everyone there for helping my Dad !!

I was referred to Dr Phillips today to remove my wisdom tooth. His staff was able to get me in the same day and everyone was so nice. When I arrived I was so nervous however the staff was so inviting and made me fell relaxed. Dr Phillips and his Assistant answered all of my questions and had me in and out in no time. I cried after the quick and painless procedure because I was relieving alot of stress. I was worried for nothing. I left smiling and I highly recommend this practice for all of your oral services. Thank you Dr Phillips and Staff.

I had three Wisdom Teeth taken out at once--and it was a better experience than when I'd previously had just one removed. The entire team at his practice was pleasant and professional. They know how to treat anxious patients. My appointment was during during the Pandemic, and it was one of the most reassuring experiences I've had while we all deal with COVID-19. Highly recommended!

Donald Phillips seems to be a competent oral surgeon, however his staff - especially his administrative staff do a disservice to his practice. When you enter the office, the two women at the administrative desk have their backs to you. This is due to the fact that their computers are located in such a way that they do not see patients who arrive in the front door. Despite the fact that I was a new patient to Dr. Phillips's practice, I was not greeted upon my arrival. When I tapped on the glass pane that separates clients from the administrative staff, they appeared irritated that I interrupted their important work of filing insurance claims. They handed me a clip board of information to fill out and of course wanted to scan my insurance card. The pre and post operative instructions need an overhaul. Prior to the my tooth extraction, my anxiety was high - mostly due to the fact that my dental consultation and tooth extraction occurred during the same visit. I was unsure as to whether to have a tooth extraction vs. a tooth extraction and dental implant. After making my decision, Dr. Phillips's surgical assistant provided me with oral instructions as to what to eat and avoid in my immediate post-operative state. Following the procedure, while biting on gauze to stop the bleeding from my extraction and while my mouth was numb with Lidocaine, I was handed a sheeted of post-op instructions. The information provided on the instruction sheet was insufficient due to the fact that it lacked specificity for eating or drinking (e.g., using a straw or drinking carbonated beverages, eat acidic foods, etc.). These are issues which the operative assistant mentioned that I should avoid pre procedure. I plan to relay these concerns to Dr. Phillips - since the quality of a professional practice also includes an assessment of the provider's support staff. My dental experience could have been much better had the issues regarding the indifferent administrative staff and insufficient post-op guidance been of higher quality.

I was in severe pain due to a cracked tooth. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called the office. Dr. Phillips eased my anxiety and fixed me up with virtually no pain during or the days following the procedure. Thank you, Dr Phillips!

Although my visits were several years ago, I am glad to have the opportunity to post this review while searching for Dr. Thomas Osborne to refer to a friend. I was very pleased with Dr. Osborne. He is gentle, personable, patient, professional and understanding...exactly who I needed, as one who has an absolute fear of dentists. He surgically removed a piece of filling left by a previous dentist. I was so pleased, I went back for an extraction. His nurse was sweet and professional as well. She knew how nervous I was but did not hesitate to make certain that I was calm and comfortable before the procedure. After inquiring about the pictures, it was a joy listening to him tell me about his mountain climbing experiences. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I will refer Dr. Osborne to anyone!!

I made an appointment for my young daughter to have a lump under her tongue examined. When I made the appointment, the woman helping me referred to the web address as the "email address" and confirmed that the office was open the week between Christmas and New Year's. I submitted paperwork and nervously waited for the day to arrive; obviously I was worried about my daughter. I called to verify that they'd received everything an hour before the appointment, and they didn't even have her down to see anyone. Cindy at the front desk was unapologetic, unconcerned, and unsympathetic. I could practically hear her shrug over the phone. A kinder or more professional soul would have offered another appointment, to work her in, or at least an apology. If this experience is any indication of the office efficacy, I am grateful to have saved myself the trouble of dealing with this practice.
