The blending of art, science, and compassionate care for people led Dr. Donald J. Steinberg to pursuea career in the field of dentistry. A Dallas native, Dr. Steinberg loves living, serving, and working with his fellow Texans in the DFW Metro area. He graduated from Southern Methodist University, University of Dallas, and the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. While at the Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Steinberg received the prestigious Merritt Parks award for Outstanding Senior in Periodontics. In 1988, he received the Dallas County Dental Societys Founders Cup Trophy for his work on the regeneration of lost bone and tissue. These bone regeneration techniques have become a standard in the field of periodontal and implant dentistry.

In 1995, he became board certified by the American Board of Periodontology, andDr. Steinberg is currently President of Periodontal & Implant Associates, PA.With decades of dental and periodontal experience, Dr. Steinberg has honed and refined his skills in periodontics and implant dentistry. As a leader in his field, he has vast experience with complex cases needing specialty carewhether implant, bone regeneration, gum disease, or cosmetics. The National Consumer Advisory Board named him2015 'Best Dentist for Periodontics & Implant Surgery,' and was additionally named'Best Periodontist' by Texas Monthly Magazine. Dr. Steinberg is very respected by peers in the dental fieldand is known for his compassionate chair side manner in his practice at DFW Implant Team.

Dr. Steinbergs continual love of learning and teaching has led to sponsoring and lecturing continuing education seminars on dental implants, bone regeneration, cosmetic consideration, and more.In 1999, he became the Director of the local branch of the prestigious Seattle Study Club organization with 40 respected dental practices in membership.

Cathy spent 7.5 years as a General Dental Assistant in England/United Kingdom before coming to work with Dr. Steinberg approximately 35 years ago. She has held numerous positions throughout her time at DFW Implant Team, and now she serves as our Office Manager. Cathy is dedicated and hardworking, and at times performs the duties of a Surgical Assistant when she is needed. She is CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), and N2O (nitrous oxide) certified. As required in her profession, Cathy accomplished 28 Continuing Education Credits each year, helps her fellow staff members as a Continuing Education Assistant, and serves as an Implant Coordinator. When she is not at work helping others obtain optimal oral health, Cathy loves to cuddle up at home with a great book to relax. Scuba diving and working out keep Cathy active, healthy, and happy.

Cassie eagerly joined the DFW Implant team as a Surgical Assistant first as an Intern, and was hired when she graduated from the Concorde Career Institute to be a Registered Dental Assisting in 2006. Always with a smile on her face and as the main Surgical Assistant, she has been assisting Dr. Steinberg with dental implants, reconstructive procedures and attentively taking care of all pre- and post-operative patients, Cassie appreciates working in the positive atmosphere of this office, and does her best to keep the operating room to meet at State and Federal safety standards. She is CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), and N2O (nitrous oxide) certified, and she also completed 12 Continuing Education Credits each year. When Cassie is not working, she taking care of her daughter, who she loves to spend time with outdoors. You may also catch Cassie on the softball field, in the gym, or out in the countryside riding horses.

Jerri is one of our knowledgeable Registered Dental Hygienists, who found her passion and calling in life after working with patients in the periodontal field. She graduated from Miami Dade College in Miami, FL in 1986. She has spent 25 years with Dr. Steinberg as Registered Dental Hygienist at DFW Implant Team, and coordinates patient procedures in the office. Jerri is CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), and N2O (nitrous oxide) certified, and she also completed 28 Continuing Education Credits yearly. Ask Jerri about her interests in hypnotherapy education, as she studies it in her spare time. She also likes to get outdoors for hiking and biking in her time away from the office.

Joy was a flight attendant for American Airlines during the 9/11 tragedy at which time she decided to make a career change. After getting her registered dental assisting license she worked in the Endodontic side of dentistry. She enjoys the camaraderie of the people in the office and says there is nothing better than seeing the smile on a patient's face after reconstructive procedures. She is CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), N20 (nitrous oxide) certified and she also completed 12 continuing education credits each year. When not working you will find her spending time with her husband watching movies, reading, or playing with her fur baby.

With over 32 years of experience with Dr. Steinberg, Karen worked in several areas of the practice; such as, a Register Dental Hygienist, Marketing and Continuing Education coordinator, and IT coordination. As a (Big Rapids, Michigan) Ferris State University alumna, Karen graduated in 1975 as a Registered Dental Hygienist with honors, and was involved with the National Honor Society. In 2000, she graduated with honors from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Business. She is also CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), and N2O (nitrous oxide) certified, and she completed 28 Continuing Education Credits each year. Karen is a very curious person with a thirst for knowledge, and she loves learning and sharing her information with others. On the weekend you can find her enjoying traveling to new exciting places, or working out at the gym, hiking and enjoying her grandchild.

Monica has worked in dentistry since 2005 in various roles such Business Administration, Team Management & Development, and a Registered Dental Hygienist. Her true love has always been on the dental hygiene side of dentistry. She is a healthcare provider that is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral hygiene goals. She strives to provide a warm welcoming experience with a gentle yet thorough touch.

As a Fort Worth native, she completed her dental hygiene prerequisites at Texas Christian University and graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry (previously known as Baylor College of Dentistry) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

When you are facing treatment for gum disease, dental implants or any other surgical procedure, Dr. Steinberg will rely on a diverse range of progressive techniques. We implement state-of-the-art imaging to facilitate minimally invasive procedures in our treatment rooms at DFW Implant Team.

Dr. Steinberg believes that technology is an important factor in planning the interventions for a number of different issues. Using 3D imaging, produced by a cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) machine, we can capture images of the jaw and other facial features so treatment planning and surgery will be more successful.
