Dr. Donald Alexander is a dentist in south side Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Alexander graduated from Queens University at Kingston, Canada with a degree in Life Sciences. He later attended the University of Iowa and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. At the University of Florida, he completed his general practice residency.
Hes taken courses at the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education, Mini-Residency in Facial Pain at the Parker Mahan Facial Pain Center, University of Florida, and many others.
As a cosmetic dentist in Jacksonville, Dr. Alexander focuses on more than the esthetics of the smile. His goal is to identify and treat the underlying cause for dental concerns to deliver patients with long-lasting, natural-looking, comfortable results.
I have been a dentist for 25 years before moving to the U.S. I joined Dr. Alexanders team where I have been working as a dental hygienist. I am grateful to continue in the field that I love and I am confident that I have the experience and skills to provide high standards of dental care to my patients.

Everyone at Dr Alexander's office is top notch. The Office staff are very informative, helpful and friendly. The dental assistants and hygienists are caring, gentle and professional. Dr Alexander is very good at communicating patient needs and the procedures ahead and even during the treatment. They make going to the dentist very easy. Really.

I have always had anxiety with dentists until know...the last 5 years I have felt nothing but calmness with Dr Alexander. He has helped me completely transform my smile and I will try to continue to see him even though I'm moving to Dallas, I will fly back to make sure I feel at ease. Dr Alexander helped me out in an emergency situation. I cracked a tooth and was in real pain. At the time he was not my regular dentist but he is now. I would highly recommend him

Dr Alexander is honestly the best. I've always been terrified of the dentist but his entire staff makes me feel at ease. Each and every procedure I have they make sure I feel comfortable and Dr Alexander always makes me laugh. I highly reccomend him

Very fast with getting me in , and getting service very minimal wait which means great scheduling! (Honestly that's the most important aspect for busy workers )! Very professional and respectful. Clean office and space , very efficient staff. Will recommend to everyone and anyone that is seeking a general dentist or even implants. Overall best dentist experience I've had in years.
