With your comfort as their first priority, our assistants are well trained and very experienced. For any procedure that the Doctor deems necessary, an assistant will be with you to prepare, assist, and advise. With our assistants, youre never alone and youre always in good hands.
Dr. Don Lough has practiced general dentistry in Wheeling, WV since 1980. He is proudly married to Amy Lough and they have two children, Jared and Courtney, and one grandson in Naples, Florida, Haven Lough.

What a great experience. No pain at all! I got a cleaning last week and got prepped for a crown today. I've worked with Nancy and Katie and they were both great. Just sit back and let them work.

Absolutely love the entire staff. They are so friendly, so helpful and professional. Both Dr. Lough's are fantastic! Would definitely recommend them.

Dr. Lough has been my dentist for over 25 years. I couldn't be more pleased with the great work he has done on my teeth. He and his awesome staff are very professional and friendly. I wont go to anyone else for dental work.

First time meeting Dr. Lough and his staff today. The were great! They were sweet, knowledgeable, and did a fabulous job with my teeth cleaning and assessment. Definitely going to have them as my dentist! Amber

I went to Dr Lough for a crown, because my dentist was no longer practicing. The work seemed fine so I went to him when I had an older filling that fell out. Dr Lough replaced the filling for me. I was in pain every time I ate after he fixed it, so I went back. Dr Lough redid my filling a second time. He said if I continued to be in pain, that I needed to get a crown instead of s filling. I was still in pain every time I ate after the second filling he did. Since I had the original filling without any issues for well over 10 years, I went for a second opinion. The second dentist found a huge hole that was not filled, and was shocked that an experienced dentist left my tooth like that. Food was getting trapped in the unfilled hole and causing me pain. The crown that seemed like it was fine didn't last a year. It fell out. My new dentist he said that a substandard adhesive was used. He also advised that the post left was unusually small. So my new dentist cleaned it off and used a better adhesive to try to make my crown last a little longer before I have to look at options at what can be done with my tooth. Since my post is so small, it is unlikely that replacing the crown will be an option.

I take my sister, who has severe MR to gentle dental. We had an appointment today, and Holly and Shelly (Shelley?) were absolute heroes! I am so grateful for their time and attention! The professionals at Gentle Dental are absolutely amazing!

The nicest doctors office I have ever been to! The staff and Dr Lough are so genuinely nice and caring! When I had to bring my baby along for an emergency appointment they occupied him until my husband came, even my picky baby was beaming at the staff!
