I've built my reputation in adult and pediatric orthodontics by setting the standard for leading-edge orthodontic care with an emphasis on patient comfort and convenience. And it's been that way since I started practicing over 25 years ago. Each one of my patients receives my full attention at every visit, making sure that their experience at our office is a positive one. Simply put, in my office, my patients come first.

The goal is not just to have the best education and qualifications, but to provide the most exceptional treatment results. I earned my DDS degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, and received my Certificate of Orthodontics. I have published five American Board of Orthodontic case studies in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

I am a member of several professional organizations to keep up with the latest technology in my field and continue my education. Served 18 years as a Cleft Palate Panel Member at Valley Children's Hospital.

When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my family; my wife Mary, our three daughters Julie, Susan, and Joan, and our German Shepherd Fado. I enjoy being outside, running, traveling, and especially attending San Francisco Giants baseball games.

Away from the office, Mary loves spending time with her three daughters and her husband, who happens to be Dr. Snyder. The two met while he was in dental school. She and her family enjoy traveling together. Mary has a Bachelor's degree in music, studying voice.

With her warm smile and friendly, approachable demeanor, Heather is always focused on the needs of our patients. She works hard to make sure they're comfortable and relaxed, and to communicate how much we appreciate them trusting us with their orthodontic needs. Getting to know each person we care for, and building relationships with them, are what make Heather happiest during the day. Of course, she loves seeing the beautiful smiles, too!

Working chairside with Dr. Snyder during orthodontic procedures, Heather makes sure the doctor has everything needed, while she concentrates on the patient. She tells the person what the doctor is doing and checks to make sure they're comfortable.

Dr. Snyder is one of the few board-certified orthodontists in our area. In order to become board-certified, Dr. Snyder passed a thorough written examination and then presented treated cases to expert examiners during a clinical examination process. Periodically, Dr. Snyder must re-examine to retain his certification, ensuring that he continues to offer the highest level of orthodontic care.
