Dr. Kalant was great when I saw him, but I am extremely upset because I have not received any calls back when I was told I would. I saw him for my TMJ around February, and got an MRI on May 2nd. It is now August 12th and I have not heard a word from the office. I have had to call them in the past to find out next steps and such. This has been so frustrating for me because I'm trying to find a solution, and now I feel like I have completely wasted my time.

I was referred to Dr. Kalant by Dentist Dr. Janda. I needed to be evaluated for a dental implant. Stated that I may require a graft. In April 2022, I visited Dr. Kalant and he took an xray and then spoke to me about it. He was concerned about something he had seen on my X-ray and said he would consult with Dr. Janda on what should be the next step. In the meantime, the insurance paid and I was billed and paid the balance. I never received a call. I call Dr. Janda's office because I was concerned. They were suppose to call me back and no word. Finally I called a 3rd time, speaking to the assistant. She called back and said that she found out that they were suppose to have me consult with another physician and never did. I reached to Dr. Kalant's office twice and spoke with an assistant both times who gave me another place to call. But they said they needed to get the xray and more information before I could schedule an appointment. I am now wearied of trying and conclude that this is not worth the frustration and time. I was hoping to get my dental work done or at least started over my summer break. If that is to happen, this obviously is not the route to take. I need my dental x-rays and need to call my insurance as to what I can do to get this taken care of.

While Doctor Kalant himself is very kind and knowledgeable, his office staff made it unbearable for me to return. I have chronic jaw joint issues and was in a ton of pain last summer. I went in for an initial consult and was told to get an MRI (which cost me $600). Dr Kalant did a zoom meeting with me to go over the results and said his office would be calling me to schedule surgery. No one ever called. Three weeks went by and I called twice and both times I was told Dr Kalant was too busy and that I'd get a call back but no one ever called back. I was no longer confident in having my procedure done at this establishment so I eventually stopped reaching out. They have now sent me collections for a bill when I had absolutely no treatment done and am paying $600 still for an absolutely useless MRI.

Primo work. I had some impacted teeth and the staff were great. Felt better heading out then going in! Glad to find this practice. Would recommend.

Dr. Kalant preformed my double jaw surgery about 3 weeks ago and I feel amazing! I have had little to no pain. His bedside manners are remarkable and he made me feel comfortable having this surgery. He explained everything throughly and any questions I had he made sure I walked out with an answer. I don't think I could've found a better doctor to do this surgery. I would recommend him to anyone!

The tooth extraction itself was a handled professionally, however I had some questions on the charges and have called billing three times and finally the office manager over a period of weeks and they have never answered their phone nor have they ever returned my voicemail messages.

Unfortunately had a bad experience with this office, and can't say I would blame Dr. Kalant himself but this should be a lesson for his office staff. I scheduled a consultation a month or month and a half in advance for jaw surgery (a very major procedure), had to take a day off of work in the week to come on a Tues, and drive out far 2 hours for the journey from where I live for work. After arriving, filled out normal paperwork (surprising post COVID offices would still use paperwork, not digital), and waited to be seen. 15 mins passed, I asked the front rep how much longer, she stated he was finishing surgery. Another 20 mins, still stated finishing a surgery. Yet people who arrived after me were being taken back by this time. One hour passes, by this time my father who was referring me needs to get back to his own patients; I am about to miss another appointment I had after this. No real answer given why I could not be taken back. We had to leave without being seen, and no one ever went out of their way to let us know what's going on, or a heads up before the visit if running behind. This is a odd experience for me because I am a Practice Manager for a Dental Practice -- had I have a patient waiting more than 5-10 mins to be taken back for an appt, especially just a consult, they'd be very irate and it would set us back. An hour? That's totally unacceptable, and can't just be nonchalant at a specialist office like an Oral Surgeon - you rely on referrals for your work, you don't want them to just walk out or lose out on that kind of work. A consultation would have included a CBCT scan & xrays - why not start those right away and seat the patient, while your doctor is running behind, instead of having the patient sit out in the waiting room for an hour? Like I said, I hope my little advice can serve as a lesson for the staff; manage time a little better here. Beware and be sure to set what expectations you can with this office before you set up a visit.

Dr Kalant's staff are the rudest, unhelpful people on the planet. They treat patients terribly. Don't waste your time and money here. There are more deserving offices to get treatment from. I've had 2 separate instances with them and I'm not sure why I ever wasted my time. Dr Kalant needs to review his hiring procedures

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out. I cannot say enough about Dr. Kalant. From the first moment we met him for our pre-surgical exam to the final process of him doing her dental surgery, I was so impressed. He is kind and makes you feel very easy and secure in trusting him. I will recommend him to everyone I know who is in need of dental surgery. He is an amazing doctor! Also I would like to give credit to his amazing Receptionists and the entire medical staff!

(Translated by Google) Excellent surgeon. I recommend it. My youngest daughter underwent Maxillofacial surgery and it was a very pleasant experience, professional in every sense of the word. My oldest daughter was born with a boneless condition in her upper gum and 4 teeth. He has been undergoing implant treatment; right now she is almost at the end of it and she is very happy. Doctor Kalant is one of the best surgeons in this field. (Original) Excelente cirujano.

Dr. Kalant did a wonderful job removing my wisdom teeth. He and everyone he works with were very kind to me and put me at ease. I'm very happy my dentist referred to his office!

I brought my son in for a consultation on getting his wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Recommended that all 4 be pulled but wasn't able to provide details on why. I asked some questions because I wanted to understand if the surgery was necessary and what types of problems it would prevent. Dr. Kalant was annoyed with my questions and asked if I was an attorney. The staff is also rude. When I asked for an estimate of the cost of surgery they said they couldn't provide that until I scheduled the surgery. I explained that knowing the cost would help me make a decision on whether we would do it this year or next. The billing clerk said that she would have to discuss it with the doctor and if he approved the request, she could possibly mail me an estimate. It's been over 4 weeks and I still have not received the estimate.
