Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Basta moved to Milwaukee, WI to pursue his goal of becoming a dentist at Marquette University. While in Milwaukee, Dr. Basta grew to love the Midwest and the people who live there. In his free time, Dr. Basta enjoys singing, playing guitar and spending time with friends. After completing dental school, Dr. Basta decided to stay in the Midwest and move to Chicago. Dr. Basta completed a one-year general residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital improving his skills in oral surgery, gum surgery, special needs dentistry, and implant placements, among many other disciplines. Dr. Basta really enjoys the sights that the city has to offer, attending many of Chicagos music festivals, and looks forward to meeting all the new patients!

This place has gotten super unprofessional and unpleasant over the 3 years I've been attending. Expect for the office to be closed even if you've been booked for an appointment. They will waste your time and the lady at the front desk is very nasty and rude. They schedule you and change your appointment time at the last minute. The toe at the front desk was no help and very unpleasant. I will be receiving services elsewhere because I'm tired.

Very Profesional and the Doctor is very good. I'm 61 and very scared of the Dentists but the Dentist is very very good didn't feel anything and I had a deep cleaning and 2 extractions. I highly recommend. Thank you crew 302.

My families new dentist!! I was greeted with a smile. The entire staff was pleasant and very gentle the entire time. They were thorough and efficient. My husband went in as well and had nothing my good things to say. We will be bringing our children in as well. Would definitely recommend!

I am very disappointed with the quality of service of this place.Yesterday was my last time coming here the dentist (Dr. Oweisi) is very impatient with children. It is his job as a dentist to make his patients comfortable. What child is going to feel comfortable about going to the dentist? He should have been talking to my son giving positive reinforcement to calm his nerves. Instead Dr. Oweisi got upset and stormed out of the room and tells me to reschedule. Not to mention this was my third appointment to fix the initial problem that my son was having. The first time I came was because He was having pain in his tooth. I was told by the exact same man (Dr. Oweisi) that a filling wouldn't fix his problem he needed to get three silver caps.Why is it that when I came yesterday he half did the job and put fillings in his mouth. He still did not fix the initial tooth that was actually causing the pain I was told to reschedule for February when I initially made my appointment back in December. This is not the first time I experienced his shortness with children. He likes to refer kids to different clinics as opposed to touching up his skills and ability to work with a child.I find that very unprofessional and not to mention it's a form of discriminating against children. My son wasn't even moving that much he had only been working on him for 20 min and basically gave up because he had to tell him to open wide a couple of times. I am extremely disappointed by the way he made me and my child feel. We definitely felt like a number vs a human being. He is not personable and should be disbarred in my opinion.

This is the absolute best dental office I have experienced hands down!! My daughter has been struggling with a decayed tooth for a while and because of her age, we have been having trouble finding a dentist to perform the extraction. The doctor and his staff at Dolton Dental went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was comfortable and they were so gentle & supportive when speaking to her about the importance of getting the tooth removed. I have never seen anything like this and I'm so grateful we found them!

I was a bit reluctant based on previous reviews but I'm glad I went with this place anyway. The staff was awesome. They are very caring and polite with a gentle touch and approach. I appreciate the clear explanation of what was going on doing my appointment. Only reason 5 stars was not given was the fact that I thought this place was advertised as full service including a dental surgeon but that's not the case. I was looking for a one stop place for all my needs. But overall I'm happy I came.

The extraction I needed they gave me the run around for months always something, insurance didn't approve (even though appointments were set months in advance) canceling and dentist leaving for different locations it was always something and then said I needed to see a specialist to extract!!!! One visit to a dentist farther away and they got it done! No months away appointments no special dentist and no money out of pocket. One extraction! IN ONE DAY! Not sure if it's my medicaid but if you have it don't waste your time. They always seem to can take cash upfront though lol
