She attended Benedictine College where she graduated with her BA in Biology in 2016. From there she attended dental school at Creighton University, completing her degree in 2020. After graduation, Dr. Hummelgard practiced Dentistry at the Atchison Community Health Clinic for one year.
Dr. Hummelgard enjoys spending time with her family and friends, adventures with her little one, watching movies, going out for dinner with her husband (we love food!), painting, interior decorating, and being outdoors with their dog, Chip.
Amie Spilman, RDH joined Dr. Dolenz office in 2001. She is a graduate of Johnson County Community College, where she was the class president of the Student Association of Dental Hygienists of America. Amie, a long-time resident of Atchison, has two children and enjoys traveling, shopping, fitness, and nutrition.
Amie and her husband Bruce are long-time residents of Atchison and together they have seven children and one grandchild. Amie enjoys traveling, shopping, fitness, nutrition, and serving her church through the loaves and fishes ministry.
Laurie Tilton joined our team in 2012. She lives here in Atchison with her husband, Chuck. Laurie has three children and enjoys spending time with family, playing with her grandchildren, reading, and playing board games. She is active in her church and loves doing outreaches in the community.
If you see Kay in the office, she probably has stopped to say hi. She learned a long time ago that she could either work in the office or be married to Dr. Dolenz, She chose to stay married. Kay works for USD 409 as Staff Accompanist. She plays for choirs at the high school, middle school, and elementary school. She enjoys travel, Alabama football, Chiefs football and spending time with her 3 adult children and extras, Karis and Dan, Karl and Lindy, Bruce, and JoJo!

Amy has been cleaning my teeth for over ten years. I have never experienced a negative feeling! Dr. Dolenz has been in my mouth for close to twenty years. He is very, very professional and very smart including applying anesthesia when it was necessary. I would highly recommend him and his entire staff!
