I love being a dentist. Over the past 29years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that I've built with my patients and their families have been life-changing. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community as Virginia Beach. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients lives.
My formal education in dentistry at the University of Oklahoma has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. By regularly participating in continuing education through Invisalign, CAD/CAM/ and 3D imagery, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results. I am also a member of several professional associations that provide me with several opportunities for continuing education throughout the year.
I am our business manager and liaison to Dr. Dolenuck for our staff and the schedule. I am also the decorator, the shopper, and the holiday coordinator! Ive been with this office since the very beginning, helping to renovate the space for the office and then working as the assistant and front desk. The best part of my job is being a part of such a wonderful family business and creating meaningful relationships with our patients.
In addition to being Dr. Dolenucks office manager, We have three children in college and a dachshund named Zoey who loves to run the beach on walks and do belly flops in the pool! I am an artist and decorator. I meet every week to paint and do calligraphy with colleagues and friends. I do decorating on the side which keeps me quite busy! I love to do yoga and go to the beach; it is my favorite place!
I graduated from dental assisting school in 1995 from Concorde Career College in Jacksonville Florida. After working as an assistant for 13 years, I decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. Now, Im able to work one-on-one with patients to improve their health and maintain it for life! I love meeting and building long-term dental relationships with some of the nicest people in this area and seeing their oral health improving. I know that Im truly able to make a difference in their lives.
I have been a dental assistant for over ten years now and I couldn't see myself doing anything else! I work alongside Dr. Dolenuck during many of our patients procedures, making people feel at ease before and after their dental experience. I feel so lucky to say that I love everything about my job, especially our patients! I love helping people feel better when they are hurting or who want to improve their confidence through a beautiful smile. I love my job because I take pride in helping others.
I grew up in Maine and came to Virginia Beach and just fell in love with the city. I love the outdoors and enjoy spending my time off with my family. I am married with a 19-year-old stepdaughter in college, a two-year-old girl, and a baby girl on the way! We also have a pet fish named Dorothy.

My family and I have attend the practice for years. They took care of two of my children who are now adults. Very clean environment , team is very nice and caring. I couldn't have untrusted much family's Dental health with anyone else.

Great experience as well as Dentist at the beach and appreciate all he does and do, God bless him his hands as well as his Dentistry, safe as well as they take every precautions due to covid, and Dr D very patient as well as informative on all procedures and caring staff as well! Very appriaciate finding a place i can call home !Love you Doc!.

I have had alot of work done by him and every thing he has done has fallen out or have to be redone by another dentist. My bridge he did years ago the anchor tooth just fell out and he is the one who killed the tooth, my front tooth he did a root canal on and went to get a second opinion and he drilled in tooth at angle the first time before he actually went straight and new dentist said he honestly wouldnt touch it because he is not sure a permanent crown would be smart to do. Actually looking into legal consultation now

I've been going to Dr. Dolenuck for 6 years now. I've been to different dentists across the country and I thoroughly trust Dr. Dolenuck. When he does a filling, he's not stingy with the novocaine. I never feel a thing. His staff is always friendly and know their patients by name. He doesn't try to upsell you on procedures you don't really need and he works with the Tricare dental plan. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dolenuck & his staff are the best!! Easy to make an appointment Treated like family Dr. Dolenuck's dental work is painless & he has great bed side manners Going to the Dentist Isn't suppose to be comfortable but it is in this office Can not say enough !!
