Dr. Gibbons served as Dental Officer in the United States Navy Dental Care for three years following dental school. After finishing his tour of duty with the Navy, he went into private practice of dentistry in Hawaii. He has practiced dentistry in Honolulu, Kona, and Maui. He has been a member of American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, Maui County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Noelle was born and raised in Lahaina, and grew up knowing that she wanted to work in the dental office. After graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2010, with a license in Dental Hygiene, she started her career on Oahu for the first 7 years. After establishing her career and started her family, she knew there was no other place to be than on Maui.
Noelle was referred to work at Dr. Matt Dodsons office, and it has been a great match ever since. She enjoys working on the friends and family that come through the office, as well as strangers that will eventually become friends.
On her time off, she enjoys mountain biking, camping, taking naps, family time playing with her 2 boys, and taking them to the beach and going on hikes. She cant wait to make your smile healthier and brighter!

The only reason I rate it a 3 cause the Dodson brothers are professional and friendly. The only upside down of there dentistry is the receptionist Cathy in Lahaina!. She pretends and puts up a show when the brothers are presence in the front but when they are not there Cathy is unhelpful and very rude. It's like she doesn't care. She just milking the clock and only there to get paid and that's it. I don't care if she's been there long but that doesn't mean for rude unpleasant unprofessional behavior and attitude to carryon further more. It's such a bad face for there dentistry business. Other then that our entire family left to another dentist provider because of her attitude!.

Worth the wait. Local dentist gem. There busy for a reason. I'm lucky enough to be blessed with good teeth low maintenance. I've gone in for 2 cleaning now and my hygienist was very thorough, educational and CLEAN! I appreciated the tips for prevention and maintaining great teeth.

I'm very happy with Doctor Matt Dodson and his capable team at the Lahaina office! I have been a patient for several years, and am treated like Ohana when I come for my dental visits. I feel comfortable knowing that I am in good hands with Dr. Matt's extensive knowledge. He provided all treatment plan options, and Lori was extremely helpful and professional in coordinating with my insurance, and follow-up phone calls.

I have never dealt with a more smug and unprofessional receptionist named Cathy. While asking about a tooth the had the filling fall out 2 days after a deep cleaning. The lady didn't care to listen to what I had to say. Then once I told her I didn't appreciate her smug attitude towards me, her response was "Why don't you tell me what you want me to say to you." Very rude behavior after having a tooth that was otherwise set and in place before the cleaning, to having it partially gone, after the treatment I recieved from their office. The receptionist is the face of the business. And to be treated so rudely for asking them to fix my tooth that they broke is highly unprofessional and unethical. I normally use the Kihei office, but since they were closed and their answering machine said to call the Lahaina office, I did. Was told they had 1 opening in a half hour, which wouldn't work for me as I live in kihei and was at work. So I ended up having to call the other brother to get something scheduled out. I would never step foot into the lahaina office with the type of behaviour I received over the phone. I am contemplating not using the Kihei office as well as this has left a real bad taste in my mouth.
