A native of Southern California, Dr. Hannah Lewis received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from UC Santa Barbara then graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School. She has practiced dentistry for over 20 years, ten years in her own office in Dana Point, California.
Dr. Lewis has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, learning from masters around the country, to bring advanced technologies and techniques to her patients. Her special area of expertise is creating beautiful, natural smiles that are beautiful in form and function. She is very experienced in Porcelain restorations and Invisalign. She also strives to put patients at ease with a gentle and caring manner and welcomes fearful and apprehensive patients.
Aloha, my name is Terri Tharp-van Nood. I am a dental hygienist here at Dodson Brothers Dentistry in Kihei. I am married to my best friend, we have a son who currently lives in the Netherlands. I have two awesome pups, Hoalea and Hula Girl, that keep us busy and entertained.In 1997 I graduated from theUniversity of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.I have been practicing dental hygiene for 23 years in several different capacities and loving every minute of it.I come from the Bay area in Northern California, and have been on Maui now for over four years, and currently reside in Haiku.Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, long walks, reading, doing art, and spending time with my family and friends.

The old lady receptionist is horrible . Don't ever ask a question about you bill she will yell at you ! I've been mistreated by her countless times . Went today for a cleaning I had to walk out . Way to abusive . I'm never going back

Dodson Brothers Dentistry was originally recommended to my husband and I by a neighbor, and all I can say is that during my first visit there, I had a really great experience. Throughout the visit, I felt very comfortable, welcomed, and satisfied. For me, I feel that it is very hard to find a good dentist that you like, but I'm really glad that I was able to come across Terri the hygienist, and Dr. Matt Dodson, who did amazing work with my teeth. Not only were they thorough, but they were very professional, skilled, and friendly. My husband loved his experience too. Highly recommend!

I brought my kids for their first cleaning feeling a bit anxious. Crissy made us all feel so comfortable and put my kids right at ease. She was not only thorough but also showed them some fun tips to keep their teeth clean. She is super sweet and my kids loved her! I am so glad we found her!

I absolutely love Chrissy as a hygienist! She makes the whole experience very personable. She explains everything as she goes along the procedures, while keeping your comfort at priority. Seriously the best hygienist I've ever seen!!

I have been going to Dr Dodsons office for 2 years now. The staff is always friendly and attentive; very easy to deal with. I had a sore tooth from a previous filling that was a possible candidate for an overhaul or worse, a root canal. Instead of just recommending it and putting me through that, Dr. Matt referred me to a specialist who determined it would be OK and it has been ever since. Highly respected that they didn't just tell me to do this and take my money. Refreshing to find a practice that holds integrity as a key value. Terri is the dental hygienist that has been cleaning my teeth. She is excellent! Very gentle technique and a warm, personable demeanor that makes it feel like I'm going to see a friend. She is professional and always makes me feel at ease. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about a dentist and hygienist on Maui or on the South side!

I was very nervous for my visit as I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years. Chrissy made me feel completely at ease. Her friendly and bubbly personality makes her a great people person. She walked me through the entire process and explained the science behind everything. I would recommend her to anyone.

I wrote up an appointment request online, I was called the next day by the receptionist and was told she'd call me right back....she never did. My boyfriend called the following day only to get the receptionist who was rude and hung up on him after she said she had no appointments for 2 weeks. This was after the receptionist was told that I did not have insurance. I would be a private payer...and she's going to be rude? I work in healthcare myself, this is no way to treat a patient. I won't be going there, and I hope this can prevent someone else from being hung up on in the near future!

I had to get a crown while on island and it was not a good experience I had my jaw open for hours and was told by my current dentist that it was that incident that has left me with awful jaw problems. The procedure was much longer than anticipated and I continue to have problems with the crown itself. The staff was really nice and easy to work with that's the only thing keeping me from giving it one star but I did not recommend any of my friends to the office.

Found my favorite dentistry! The team in Kihei is top notch at what they do. Shout out to Terri who was my dental hygienist. She was the nicest RDH I have ever met and worked with. She was quick and efficient with x-rays and cleaning. She was incredibly kind and considerate, and very inviting. I also need to recognize Irma. She worked SO HARD to get my appointment set up and insurance squared away. She was very welcoming and made my first appointment stellar. Of course Dr. Lewis was wonderful and able to provide great information and attention during the appointment. This location is clean and updated, with a wonderful team. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a Dentist.... look no further! My experience with Dodson Brothers Dentistry: Kihei has been exceptional to say the least. From the front desk to the back the staff are friendly and offer great communication. I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted. I was very nervous going into the procedure but Dr. Matthew Dodson was right there with his assistant to explain what was happening before and during, bring me ease and a sense of security. I was so impressed with the effeciency and outcome. It is not always easy going to the dentist but I will say you are in great hands no matter if you are getting your teeth cleaned or a major procedure done!
