Dr. Jonelle Doctor grew up in the Chicago Southwest suburbs. She attended the University of Michigan for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2012. Dr. Jonelle completed her D.D.S. degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Jonelle enjoys treating patients of all ages. She loves to volunteer and her goal is to participate in dental mission trips abroad.
Dr. Josef Doctor is originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the University of Windsor in 1983 with his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then came to the U.S. and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Joe has been in the Chicago area since 1987. In 1995, he opened his own practice in Mokena. He then moved to the current office in 2007. In his spare time, Dr. Joe enjoys playing tennis.
Julie is a dental assistant at JCD Dental Associates. She is currently enrolled in dental school at Southern Illinois University.Julie completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan in 2018.
Nela is a dental assistant at JCD Dental Associatesand a nurse at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey, IL. Nela is the wife of Dr. Joe and mother of Dr. Jonelle, Lizah, and Julie.Nela has been an assistant to Dr. Joe since the beginning of his career in 1988. Nela is also from Windsor, Ontario, Canada and attended the University of Windsor. In her spare time, Nela likes to go biking and play tennis.
My name is Alma Soliz. I have been with JCD Family Dentistry since August of 2014. My dream has always been to work in the health care field and dentistry is where I ended. I absolutely love working here and cannotbegin to describe how great the team and the doctors are. I am honored to enjoy the best of both worlds at the front desk and as a dental assistant.

I been going to Dr.Joe for about 18 years. I went to him back when his office was in Mokena! Dr. Joe is the best dentist around. Since then my 2 kids now go to Dr.Joe also. He's the best there is and he's so nice and friendly too!

I've been going to Dr Josef for 6 years now. Very thorough handles my anxiety well and patiently. Would recommend him 100 times over.

Horrible experience. All this office cares about is the money. Terrible work. Every filling I had was put over unfinished drilling of cavities. I had a whole tooth replaced with an artificial, and it was improperly done and wouldn't stay in place. I know it wasn't an allergic reaction or rejection to the metal rod it had on the account I've had piercings all my life, I had to see a specialist to have surgery to remove bone fragments left in my mouth as well. My total loss from this dentists shotty work was 7 teeth removed. The decay that happened underneath fillings and crowns were detrimental to the life of my teeth. I am 26 and in need of partial dentures because of this dentist. Malpractice doesn't even begin to cover it. Please be advised, don't bring your kids or yourself here just because it's located in a great neighborhood.
