Dr. Pierre Doche grew up in Southern California for the majority of his life, where he attended the University of California Irvine and graduated in 1991. He then graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1995, where he became a faculty member and shared his expertise and knowledge on clinic floors. Before moving to San Diego, he resided in Boston for 9 years and successfully opened a practice consisting of several offices.
Theres the beauty in listening and communication. A lot of the time patients have the answers: we just take the time to help discover them. If I spend the time to know their fears, whats keeping them from seeing the dentist, or what they need to feel encouraged to come in, Im able to do my best by them, for their utmost health and sense of comfort.
Dr. Doches love for the dental field is apparent by the way he treats his patients with care and respect. Thriving on researching and learning all the new and innovative techniques that would benefit his patients, Dr. Doches main priorities are his patients comfort and creating the best esthetic and functional dentistry available.

Today, Dr. Pierre loves to spend as much time as he possibly can with his family. He is married to Rose, who is the office manager and one of the registered dental hygienists in the office, and they have two teenaged sons. When he is not in the office caring for patients, he is at home, doting on his family.
Rosemary Doche enjoys creating smiles as your Dental Hygienist and Office manager at Doche Family Dental. She was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where she graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.

After working as a dental assistant for a large dental group for 10 years, she applied to Mount Ida College and graduated in the top 2% of her class in 2001. She was awarded the Golden scaler award for her outstanding clinical technique and professional judgment in 2001, and became certified into the Phi Theta Kappa Society for holding a grade point average of 3.8. In addition, she qualified for merit into the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honors Society, which is only given to the top graduating dental hygiene students.
She loves the challenge and responsibility there is in caring for her patients. She is always researching and updating on the latest technologies for patient safety, oral cancer awareness and periodontal health. She wanted to implement all she has learned over her years of experience in the dental field to her patients to achieve their personal best. During any free time, she enjoys photography, watching her boys play sports and hanging out at the beach.

Thank you Doche dental. For my first time here I felt welcome and I will be returning. My teeth feel good and I didn't experience any pain in the cleaning or exam! Gentleness is an especially suited virtue for the Dentist!

I am so happy we found Doche Family Dental. My husband and I had gone years without going because of bad experiences, having kids, pandemic, etc and the team at Doche has really turned that around for us. They are incredibly nice, up front about all charges and very accommodating to our busy schedules. We love that we have solid treatment plans in place and plan on keeping up with our cleanings moving forward. Highly recommend!

Dr. Doche has been my dentist for many years now. I love the positive environment in the office and how the staff are prepared for me when I arrive. They will remember your name, profession, and dental history to give the very best care. After 2 implants, 3 crowns, and about 11 replaced fillings, I can assure you that Dr. Doche is amazing at what he does!!

The dental hygienist Jennifer was very very friendly, gentle, and efficient and explained everything that she was doing. Moreover, Dr. Doche is always very congenial and is interested in maintaining the health of my mouth. Overall, this office is fantastic!

My daughter and I went in for our 6 month checkup today. We were called back for our appointments on time, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. It was also nice to see so many protective protocols in place during COVID. We love Dr. Doche and his staff, and highly recommend going to see Doche Family Dental.

I would just like to thank Dr Doche for spending not only an immense amount of time with me for my initial consultation but also for the quality, knowledge and patience he shared with me. I have quite an extensive list of dental issues that he took the time to thoroughly explain, allowing me time to make an informed decision. I couldn't have been happier with him as my choice in a new and much needed dentist. The girl taking all of my X-rays was very sweet as well. (I wish I could remember her name). And lastly.... Maggie at the front desk is beyond exceptional. Quick, efficient, takes as much time as needed to explain everything to you and is just a sweetheart! I've had the pleasure of talking with her on the phone a few times prior to my visit and each time she was absolutely precious! Thank you to Dr Doche and his excellent team! Thank you again, Crystle.

I can't speak to Dr. Doche as I never had the opportunity to actually see him due to the poor customer service I received before my appointment. Good customer service goes a long way, I will take my business elsewhere where they recognize that.

I arrived Dr. Doche at his office due to a pain in one of my upper molars. He examined me and suggested the tooth be extracted. He provided me a referral for the extraction. Dr. Doche also wrote me a prescription for medication to stop the immediate pain.

Dr. Doche is the best!! He makes you feel relaxed, and he is highly knowledgable. Unlike most dentists, Dr. Doche has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. :-) All of his staff were wonderful as well. I will definitely be back again!
