Kim only started working with Dr. Brackett during the spring of 2018. However, she has been in the dentistry sector for almost 30 years and is an expert on dental treatment and billing. Kim loves everything about dentistry, especially the smile on patients faces when they walk out the door. Kim and her husband moved to Orange Beach in 1999, and have been living on their sailboat for the past 14 years. She has one daughter, and when shes not at work you can find her spending time with her family, or hiking through the nearby mountains.
Kathy joined our team in 2006 as a part-time hygienist and had become the coordinator for hygiene development and periodontal disease therapy by early 2007. She graduated from Northeastern University and Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene in Boston, MA in 1969. Yes, she is a Yankee, but that does not stop her from loving our beautiful Gulf Coast. Kathy considers all her patients as her dental family and aims to make each person feel comfortable and well cared for. Kathy has 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren that she and her husband Richard would spoil daily if they just lived closer. She also loves swimming, dancing, movies, and reading.
Keshia joined our team in March 2018 but has been practicing hygiene for 4 years. She graduated from Northeast Universitys Hygiene School. Her favorite part about dentistry is helping and educating patients to take better care of their teeth. Keshia moved to the Gulf Coast in 2017 and has been here ever since. She has two fur babies, Champ and Chloe, whom she absolutely adores. In her spare time, Keshia enjoys background acting in films and playing around with hair/makeup.

Needed emergency dental work at the beach and they did an absolutely amazing job of getting me in and getting me handled so I could be out of pain and enjoy

Great visit. The front desk worked me in and I was able to be seen and get a temporary filling. The Dentist, the dental assistant and receptionist were kind and accommodating. Thank you for being nice and for helping me out!

While on vacation a couple weeks ago, one of my fillings began to abscess and was extremely painful. Fortunately my dentist from home made some calls and was told to send me to Doc of the Bay! This was on Monday and I was seen on Tuesday! I am very thankful for their ability to get me seen so quickly! They took X-rays and prescribed me medicine to help manage the pain until I went home! He even called the next day to see how I was feeling and in the medication was working! I would absolutely recommend doc of the bay to anyone!

My husband and I were both seen at Doc of the Bay today. I want to thank everyone for being so kind. Keshia you have great hands- soft touch and my teeth feel wonderful after your cleaning. We were with you for the 10 years while we lived in Perdido Key. We moved to Virginia after Hurricane Ivan and are now in Charlotte NC. My husband just lost a crown you put on and made us think of you. Wish we were closer, haven't found anyone since we moved to replace you. Maybe we need a road trip!! Richard & Pat Sawyer

From the front desk until I walked out of the building, I was treated with a profound level of respect and professionalism. Once I met Dr. Brackett, I knew I'd found my new dentist. He was kind, thorough, and understanding about my own opinions for further treatment. I could not have asked for a better experience. These folks are high class, high character, and high quality and they treat you like they've known you for years. Incredible experience!

Such a great dentist and staff. They are totally prepared for patients during this virus time. I never felt uneasy and my safety and health was their main concern. Dental hygienist there since January and she is terrific! I strongly recommend Doc of the Bay!

We used their office when our local dentist wasn't able to accommodate a need during Covid, and the care given made me ready to transfer our entire family to this practice! Not only was Dr. Brackett kind, compassionate, and caring but he also never made us feel rushed or like we were bothering him. I can't say enough good things about Doc of the Bay.

I was expecting to have my broken tooth removed and have another bridge for replacement, but instead, I came out with a perfect crown, same day , In about three hours. Dr John Brackett is a master in the profession.

While vacationing at Orange Beach, Alabama from Tennessee a crown came off one of my front teeth. I called Dr. Brackett's office at 7:35 a.m. on Monday morning 10/14/19 to request an appointment. By 8:30 a.m. I had completed a couple of forms, had x-rays made and was in the dental chair being examined. My original intent was to have the crown "temporarily" re-attached until I could get back to Tennessee and have my hometown dentist permanently attach it. However, I was so impressed with Dr. Brackett's professionalism and practical recommendations to properly repair my tooth that I quickly chose to let him permanently re-attach my crown. In addition, Dr. Brackett examined the overall alignment of all my teeth and offered very practical recommendations for me to discuss with my dentist in Tenneesee about how teeth and crowns wear at different rates. During the process, Dr. Brackett and his assistant, Donna, made many photographs of my tooth and crown repair. As I was leaving I was advised that these photographs would be emailed to my dentist at no charge. I was out of Dr. Brackett's office by 10:30 a.m. If I lived in Orange Beach, I would look no further than Dr. Brackett for my dental work.
