Debbie has worked in our practice alongside Dr. Rollins for over 25 years! She began her journey as an orthodontic assistant and since then has moved onto many roles including clinical coordinator, treatment coordinator and now as an office manager. Her passion, however, has always been patient care and she still remains the treatment coordinator in our Hamden location. Debbie loves to make sure patients feel involved and comfortable with the services they are receiving starting from day one and throughout their treatment. A lifetime Connecticut resident, she currently lives in Trumbull with her husband and enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
Sherri was born and raised in the Greater New Haven area. After raising her 4 children for 17 years, with the support of her husband, she decided to return to the workforce. She joined our team more than 7 years ago and is proud to say that she is part of 3 generations to work for dobie + rollins orthodontics! Her mother worked for Dr. Rollins for 17 years, and her daughter also joined our team as an orthodontic assistant a few years ago. Born with the gift of gab, Sherri loves working with patients and wants them to always feel warm and welcomed, just as if theyve walked into her own home.
Eudora has been working with the public for over 20 years and joined dobie + rollins orthodontics more than 5 years ago. She has resided in Hamden for 27 years with her husband and 4 beautiful children. She can testify on the abilities of the office first hand, since each and every one of her children has had their smile made perfect by Dr. Rollins and Dr. Dobie. When Eudora is not working, she loves spending time with her 3 German Shepherds which keep her quite busy and a little crazy! In the summer she enjoys spending time with her family boating; motorcycle riding in the fall; and relaxing in front of the fire with a good book in the winter. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know you, when you come in to have you or your childs smile made beautiful.
Marisol is a native of the Greater New Haven area, and has worked exclusively in the dental field since 2003. Over the years she has worked in various different dental specialties, but soon realized that her true passion lies in orthodontics. Marisol has been married to her loving husband for 26 years and has 2 daughters that are 17 years apart in age! She comes from a very large family and is the youngest of 10 children and has 35 nieces and nephews! Needless to say, she truly knows how to get along with anybody and always makes friends with our patients. She loves spending time with her family and being a rowdy little league mom.
Lyndsey was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She eventually made her way across the Long Island Sound and up to Connecticut in 2011. As soon as she relocated to this area she joined the dobie + rollins orthodontics team and has been an assistant here ever since. Lyndsey enjoys her job and the interaction that she has with patients every day. She enjoys connecting with others and always strives to help them feel welcomed, at ease and comfortable in the chair. During her free time she enjoys being with her husband Alex and their very active 4-year old son Xavier.
Erica is the 3rd generation of Espositos to work for dobie + rollins orthodontics, and she loves that she gets to work with her mother every day. With her positive, outgoing personality, and gift for caring for little ones, she loves to bring smiles to children in the office every day. Whether youre a patient in the chair, or a little sibling watching from the sidelines, Erica will be close by making sure everyone is having a fun time. Growing up in a household with 3 younger brothers, she truly understands how to help calm down and alleviate any fears or concerns patients might have. Patience is a beautiful thing, and with 3 younger brothers, she truly has more than most of us! When she isnt helping bring your smile alive at work, you can find her in the gym 6 days a week or participating in various extreme sports.
Justin was born and raised in North Bergen, New Jersey and attended Bergen Catholic High School. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, with a B.S. in Biological Chemistry and was also a member of the varsity soccer team, as well as the Latinos Unidos student organization. Outside of work, Justin enjoys watching sports on TV, staying active, and spending time with his friends. Helping patients achieve their ideal smile and seeing them notice their amazing progress has inspired him to pursue a career in Dentistry, and hopefully one day own an orthodontic practice of his own!
Barbara has lived on the Connecticut shoreline her entire life. She shares her CT home with her husband Rob, 3 golden retrievers and their kitty Spike. She has been in the orthodontic field for nearly 20 years and absolutely loves what she does. She started off as a chair-side clinical assistant and has moved all the way up to the Office Manager in our Guilford location. She truly enjoys working closely with the families, and has a natural ability of making sure all of their needs are met and that any insecurities are quelled. She especially loves to see the transformation of our patients throughout treatment, knowing that a confident smile can change a persons life. When she isnt busy with her dogs, she enjoys spending time with her grownup son, traveling, and rooting for the New York Giants!
Jill is a Connecticut transplant from Westchester County, New York. She has lived in Connecticut since 1993 with her husband Robert, son William and daughter Abigail. In 2009 they relocated from Stamford up to Guilford. Jill has worked in the customer service field her entire career, and could not imagine life any differently. She truly enjoys the day-to-day interaction she has with all of the families that come into the office. She is always in awe of the transformation of each patient, especially her own children who were treated at dobie + rollins orthodontics. She enjoys cooking (most times), spending time with family, traveling, and most importantly supporting her Green Bay Packers!
Kari was born and raised in East Haven, CT and currently lives there with her husband Robert and three children Izabella, Ryan and Gabriella. She initially joined the field of orthodontics by chance in 2001, and enjoyed it so much that she has never looked back. She has such patience and natural ease with our younger patients and always shares in their excitement when they reach the end of their treatment. He daughter Izabella is currently in braces at dobie + rollins orthodontics and she cannot wait to see her transformed smile! Kari is a dedicated Hockey and Dance Mom who spends much of her free time traveling to different venues to support her active children.
Sonia was born and raised in the Greater New Haven area. She now lives in Madison, CT with her husband Tyler, two children Christian and Sophia, and their dog named Brittni. She has been in the orthodontic field since 2004 where shortly thereafter she got braces herself. Watching her own smile transform was such a rewarding event that she knew this was the perfect specialty for her and she is excited that she gets to see all of these new smiles each and every day at work. Sonia always says, A smile goes a long way which is so very true! Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking, watching movies, listening to music, dancing, and being silly with her young ones.
Barbi was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. She has been in Connecticut, however, since 1989 and became an orthodontic assistant shortly after moving here. She places great value in the relationships that she creates with the patients throughout their treatment and deeply appreciates their beautiful smiles when she sees their braces come off. She enjoys riding her bike and hiking the trails near her beautiful countryside home that she has painstakingly renovated. She also loves to cook for friends and family and watching Green Bay Packer games with her husband and their little Maltese named Cody.

Dr.Dobie is amazing! This place is just amazing overall, they all are dedicated to making everyone have a beautiful smile. My only concern is the way the staff is with people. Jill from the front desk...was not very welcoming to be honest. She kinda had an attitude, but with the other patients she was perfectly fine. Overall I felt very uncomfortable and just not in a good environment.

My boys just had their braces off, and it has been a wonderful experience with Dr. Dobie and the staff at Dobie & Rollins. The boys teeth look great!The Dr. and office staff were so accommodating, even when they were shut down for a short period during height of pandemic, the Dr. came in special for an emergency visit when one of the boys had a wire come loose. Fair pricing and clean comfortable office experience. Def recommended.

As long-time Guilford patients we were thrilled when the East Haven/Branford office opened only 10 minutes from our home. The office is designed perfectly for kids and teens, and Dr Dobie and his team continue their top-notch orthodontic care in this convenient location! Our third and final teen in braces loved having his picture taken in front of the social media wall on his last day! Dr Dobie and his team made having braces FUN!

Dr Dobie is an excellent person and an amazing doctor. I came to his office almost two years ago and it was amazing when i started to see the changes on my teeth 2 month after. My treatment is over and I'm supeeer happy with the results. I told him I wanted a perfect smile and he gave me a perfect smile ;). Never had to wait when I had an appointment. Barbara and Gill are very sweet and all the assistants are very professional and they are always willing to help and make you feel comfortable. I recommend Dr Dobie 100% Thank you so much

All I can say is, Wow! Dr. Dobie and his staff are amazing. When I lived in Florida, I had braces when I was 14 years old (18 years ago) and those teeth shifted back to my original overbite and crowding because of my retainer not fitting properly- long story which irrelevant to this review. Right before the pandemic I was ready to have straight teeth again. I did a lot of research and came across Dobie+Rollins Orthodontics which had wonderful reviews, so I went with them. I decided to go with Invisalign instead of braces this time, because braces were really rough for me in the past. I had my teeth scanned and a plan was made for my treatment, which was expected to take 1.5 - 2 years long. Then COVID hit, so the start of my treatment had to hold off until places started opening up again. Once they started taking patients for non-emergency visits, I went in to receive my first set of trays (buttons were put on my teeth with the first set of trays to help with the shifting). I was instructed to wear them 20-22 hours per day, and change them weekly. 20-22 hours per day is KEY - I can't stress this enough! Some weeks my teeth were more sore than others, some weeks barely at all! The soreness only lasted 1-2 days per week and was bearable. I loved when they were sore because to me it meant they were moving. I went in every 2-3 months just to ensure my teeth were moving properly for the first set, which there were a total of 38 trays (38 weeks). At tray 36, I went in to get a rescan of my teeth for my refinement set of trays. I had a couple more buttons put on my teeth once I received my refinement trays. My refinement trays were also worn 20-22 hours per day and switched weekly, and I only needed 16 trays. Last week I went in to see if I was finished with my treatment or possibly needed one more set of refinement trays. I wore my trays the recommended time and my teeth shifted they way they should, so I was done with the active treatment. I had two options for retainment, either permanent retainers or removable. Since I am moving out of state, I chose the removable retainer. I am instructed to wear this removable retainer just as the Invisalign (full time, 20-22 hrs per day) for 3 months, then I can wear them nightly from there on out. Dr. Dobie's treatment, knowledge on how Invisalign works, and my commitment to treatment has allowed me to finish Invisalign in 1 year 2 months, which is 4 months shorter than originally expected. I highly recommend Dobie+Rollins Orthodontics for anyone considering braces or Invisalign. Dr. Dobie and staff are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you may have along the way.
