Dr. Elizabeth Satola earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1990 from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She changed career paths and pursued her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore where she graduated magna cum laude in 1994. Dr. Satola then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Angela Paliotta, originally from Indiana, obtained her bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1995. She then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she received her doctorate from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky. She has been with Dobbin Dental Suite since her move from Lexington in 2000. Dr. Paliotta enjoys treating families of all ages and sedation dentistry, for those who are dental phobic.
Dr. Carrie McMillen has been a member of the Dobbin Dental family since 1991. While growing up in Columbia, she began working in the practice starting in high school as the receptionists assistant. Soon after, Dr. McMillen was trained in dental assisting which piqued her interest in other aspects of dentistry. In 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, graduating with high honors from the University of Maryland Dental School. She practiced dental hygiene for three years before returning to academia and earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006.
After graduating with honors from dental school, Dr. McMillen spent one year at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, where she received advanced training in general practice and hospital-based dentistry.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, Dr. John Bowman attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 1976.
Before joining Dobbin Dental Suite, he and his wife, Fran, lived in Philadelphia where Dr. Bowman served as Director at Albert Einstein Medical Centers General Practice Dental Residency Program, as well as being a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.
In 1983, Dr. Bowman and his family moved to Baltimore where he received a Masterof Science (M.S.) degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in Oral Pathology. Additionally, he served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Presently, Dr. Bowman lives in Pikesville. He has a daughter, Katie, who lives in Los, Angeles and a son, Michael, who along with his wife, Mya have a beautiful boy named Jesse. They are currently living in Silver Spring.
