As you have likely noticed while visiting our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We strictly follow universal safety precaution recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), designed to protect both you and our staff. These practices have been in place for years and they do work. As CDC recommendations are adapted to fit the changing environment, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to update our routine to keep you safe. Privacy PracticesWe are required by Federal and State Law to maintain the privacy of your health information, in strict adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Each patient will be given a copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices to review. This policy is mandated by law and will be followed to protect you and your family.
Patient Protection ProgramYour health and welfare are important to us. We take every necessary step to safeguard your health every time you come into our office. We are in strict compliance with all state and federal regulations, including those set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to meet or exceed all standards regarding infection control procedures. When taking any x-rays, we always place an approved apron over the patients to protect them, even though radiation doses used in digital imaging are very low. We always wear gloves, masks, protective eyewear, clinical gowns and use disposable plastic wraps to ensure your safety. We also follow the most up-to-date rigorous cleaning, disinfection and sterilization protocol.
If you have any questions about our infection control procedures, please ask us. Well be happy to tell you more about the steps we take to protect you. Our staff receives regular HIPAA and OSHA training to stay abreast of current regulations.
Insurance and Billing / Payment OptionsWe are committed to providing quality and affordable dental health care. You have multiple options for payment available. We accept many national and local insurance plans, please contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance claim at your behalf as long as you are free to choose your own dentist. If you would like to extend payments over a longer period of time, we offer third party financing in cooperation with CareCredit.

Dr. Nurminsky is not just a good doctor, he is an excellent doctor. Professional in his field, attentive, tactful. During each visit, he tells you what to do, what tools and preparations to use in order to improve the condition of your teeth. For Russian-speaking patients, Dr. Nurminsky is generally a treasure. My husband and I have been clients of Dr. Nurminsky for several years now. And very grateful for his work. If someone is looking for a dentist, then I recommend Dr. Nurminsky. He is a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Nurminsky inherited me from his predecessor when he bought the practice. Though I liked the former guy, the transition has been a pleasant experience. Dr. N. has a nice, gentle touch and has introduced a nice modern appointment reminder /document management system. I'm very happy to have a competent, affable dentist within walking distance of my home in East Betheda.

Dr. Nurminsky is an excellent dentist...his attention to detail is outstanding and he doesn't say "that's good enough ". He keeps making adjustments so that he is completely satisfied with the work. He's also extremely calm, thus calming nervous patients like me. The entire staff at the Bethesda office also are professional and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Nurminsky!

I've been going to Dr. Nurminsky ever since Dr. Cocoros retired, I was a bit nervous at first to have a new dentist, but I've been very happy and plan to stick around as long as I can. Dr. Nurminsky is a talented dentist with a good sense of humor who has surrounded himself with friendly, accommodating staff. There are dentists closer to me in DC, but I feel that Dr. Nurminsky is worthy of a drive to Pointer Ridge or a Metro ride to Bethesda.

Great experience! I am always nervous going to the dentist. However Dr. Nurminsky was great. He was calm, methodical and patient. Between a basic cleaning, cavity and new crown he made the experience very smooth. I appreciated his kindness and professionalism. Kudos to his awesome staff as well! I will be a regular customer. Dr Nurminsky just finished two crowns located in the front of my mouth. The crowns are perfect....color, shape and bite. Excellent dentist and staff. Make him your new dentist. You will not be sorry.

Dr Nurminsky and his staff are fantastic, polite and professional! Dr Nurminsky carefully cleaned my teeth, did not rush and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. He also devised an effective treatment for my sensitive teeth. The office is carefully observing best practices in light of COVID-19 - it is super clean and doors are constantly being wiped down, the front desk assistant, the dental assistant, and Dr Nurminsky wore full protective gowns and face shields, and air purifiers have been placed in each room (I was also informed that the iPad used for checking in patients is also wiped down immediately after each use). I highly recommend Dr Nurminsky for your dental care - you will be in good hands.

Dr Nurminsky has been an awesome dentist, first helping me with an emergency repair of a crown, and then with another; then with maintenance. He is careful, explains things carefully and does a beautiful job. Staff are friendly and helpful.
