As the state is starting to recover, all of us are transitioning towards a new normal. While many things have changed and will change, one has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
As you have likely noticed while visiting our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We strictly follow universal safety precaution recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), designed to protect both you and our staff. These practices have been in place for years and they do work. As CDC recommendations are adapted to fit the changing environment, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to update our routine to keep you safe. Privacy PracticesWe are required by Federal and State Law to maintain the privacy of your health information, in strict adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Each patient will be given a copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices to review. This policy is mandated by law and will be followed to protect you and your family.
Patient Protection ProgramYour health and welfare are important to us. We take every necessary step to safeguard your health every time you come into our office. We are in strict compliance with all state and federal regulations, including those set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to meet or exceed all standards regarding infection control procedures. When taking any x-rays, we always place an approved apron over the patients to protect them, even though radiation doses used in digital imaging are very low. We always wear gloves, masks, protective eyewear, clinical gowns and use disposable plastic wraps to ensure your safety. We also follow the most up-to-date rigorous cleaning, disinfection and sterilization protocol.
If you have any questions about our infection control procedures, please ask us. Well be happy to tell you more about the steps we take to protect you. Our staff receives regular HIPAA and OSHA training to stay abreast of current regulations.
Insurance and Billing / Payment OptionsWe are committed to providing quality and affordable dental health care. You have multiple options for payment available. We accept many national and local insurance plans, please contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance claim at your behalf as long as you are free to choose your own dentist. If you would like to extend payments over a longer period of time, we offer third party financing in cooperation with CareCredit.

Dr. Nurminsky and his team are professional, skilled and efficient. Everyone is friendly and they take the time to explain the procedures. Dr. Nurminsky has been especially helpful when I've had dental emergencies and made time in his schedule to see me and my family members. 5 stars!

Dr. Nurminsky has filled several cavities and crafted three crowns. He is a skilled dentist, who gives pain free injections. Friendly staff too!

Dr. Nurminsky was hand picked to take over Dr. Cocoros' practice. I've had only 100% wonderful experiences with his skilled work and staff. I think the most invasive that scares people are crowns. I can say that getting a crown from Dr. Nurminsky is a great experience. No discomfort, and his tools and methods are the latest. I just had another crown done today - the permanent put on. It is a perfect fit. The material, look and feel are perfect. I have always been 100% satisfied and have been attending this dental practice for about 26 years. My kids went here. They have great teeth.

I have been Dr. Nurminsky's patient for many years now. He is a kind, gentle practitioner and a great artist of dentistry. He takes time for his patients and ensures a good, quality smile. His staff are also terrific! They know at times going to the dentist can be stressful, but they make every effort to provide a calm and warm environment. If you are looking for a new dentist or a change from a factory-type dental office, I would highly recommend Dr. Nurminsky. You might actually be more motivated to give your teeth the preventive care they need.

Just had a crown put in and the experience was quick, painless, and the crown fit perfectly. This is the second crown I had put in by Dr. Nimursky and both experiences were great.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr Nurminsky as mine and my family dentist in Bowie, MD. He has looked after my entire family with diligence, patience, and great care for many years now. He has done semi-annual cleanings, crowns, and fixed broken teeth. Just another day I was absolutely impressed with the Covid Infection prevention and control at the office. I was a bit cautious at first, but waiting in a car - just for a few minutes - I was called into the reception room where only receptionist (in the mask) behind the glass was to great me. I noticed that every room from reception to the dental operatory had medical grade HEPA filter (the only one actually eliminating viruses - including COVID- from the air). Dr. Nurminsky was dressed int the full PPE - I actually felt very safe and very at ease with all the safety measures taken by the doctor and his staff. Highly recommend Dr. Nurminsky!
