After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, he completed his postdoctoral training at Howard University in Washington, DC, serving as chief resident.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Valle-Cintron has received many awards and honors, including the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award and the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Award. He has also participated in several medical mission trips both locally and abroad, including trips to the Caribbean and the Middle East.
Dr. Valle-Cintron chose to become a dentist because he loves being able to improve both a persons health and appearance at the same time. Earning the trust and respect of each patient is as important to him as creating healthy, beautiful smiles. He makes sure he restores more than just teeth, he restores his patients confidence.

I was very pleased with the service I received with Dr Li and her staff. When I called for my appointment the receptionist was very knowledgeable and helpful and courteous. When I went for my appointment I did not have to wait very long in the waiting room before they took me back to the chair and it did not take very long before Dr Li came. She was very thorough and answered all my questions in terms that I understood. I highly recommend Dlight Dental for your specialty dental needs.

I visited this office in 2020 and been recommended a biopsy procedure that didn't covered by my insurance. I did it and costed $500. Surprisingly, the next year, I got another bill from a lab for another $500. They could have picked a lab covered by my insurance, they just didn't really care patient's cost and feeling at all. At that time, it was too late for everything..... I was really disappointed.

The dental practice is efficient in getting you in on time at your designated appointment time. Also, the dentist is honest, but gentle both in his dialogue with you as well as his actual procedures. He keeps you informed throughout the procedure of what he is doing, so you are not unsure of the progress being made as well as the time you are looking at to finish the procedure. I appreciated that the administrative staff followed up with me to make an appointment for the remaining work that needed to be done. The font office staff are polite and courteous. Overall, I recommend this practice.

Dr. Desta performed an impeccable root canal on me. He also has good bedside manners. My family and I like him. Ladies at the reception are very nice and we are seen immediately each time.
