Dr. Alamir has been practicing dentistry since 1997. He obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and was proud to pursue his dream in specializing in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Alamir attended a three year post-graduate dental program in the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a Specialty in Orthodontics Certificate, and a Master of Science Degree. He is also certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest achievement in the specialty of Orthodontics.
Dr. Alamirs treatment philosophy is patient care centered. He treats children, adolescents and adults using a variety of appliances including traditional braces, clear braces, lingual braces, invisalign , and many other fixed and removable orthodontic appliances. We strive to put a beautiful healthy smile on all of our patients.

I've called this office multiple times over the month no response and my 9 year old is needing braces, with this being the only dentist in the area acceptable of the medical card I'm finding no solution for my daughters braces this office is horribly unprofessional after multiple calls and messages I'm looking to have to travel hours away to get our needs

My application for my insurance to pay for braces was denied because Dixon Smile Orthodontics didn't send them what they needed. This is a failure to do their job.

Terrible experience! You wait in the lobby forever, I called to get an appointment and it was three months in advance. My daughters braces are paid for yet can't be seen. We can't really go anywhere else because we've already paid them the full amount-and I paid because we don't have insurance that covered it. If the guy only comes 2 days A week and quit taking new patients and finish with the patients you have
