I feel honored to be an orthodontist. Obtaining this specialized skill and implementing those skills to make lasting positive changes in someones life is rewarding and unique. Meeting so many people across varying degrees of cultures and situations makes me grateful for what I have and what I am able to do for others in this great specialty.

Helping patients become less self-conscious when smiling and more confident overall is so exciting! Watching patients progress through treatment and finally achieving the smile they have always wanted is what I love the most.

I graduated from SUNY Buffalo Physical Therapy Program in 1992 with a BS degree, Cum Laude, and practiced for four years. Then, from SUNY Buffalo Dental School in 2000, I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, (DDS) and graduated Magna Cum Laude.After dental school, I completed a three-year Post-Doctoral residency in Orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received my Post-Doctoral Certificate in Orthodontics and an additional Masters Degree. I also served as a component president and trustee of a state dental society for two years.

Continuing education is very important to me and I am actively involved in it through my attendance at multiple regional and national orthodontic educational meetings every year. I have completed the Invisalign Master Series course, attend the Dawson Academy, and regularly attend CE courses through the ADA and the AAO. Keeping up with the latest technology and methods for creating beautiful functional smiles ensures we are delivering the best possible care.

I am a native of Vestal, NY and now live in Granby, CT. My wife Amy of 22 years is from Westfield, MA. She has a Masters degree in Elementary Education but stays home and takes care of everyone else. My oldest daughter Ashlyn is a junior in high school and loves basketball and fishing. My youngest Evelyn is in the eighth grade and loves basketball and gymnastics. Our dog Lila is eight and loves taking trips in the car!

Orthodontics is not just about straightening teeth, its about enhancing a persons life by improving their self-esteem and their confidence. I am committed to providing patient-centered quality orthodontic care in a fun and comfortable environment for children and adults. I am passionate about working one-on-one with my patients to create their ideal smile, all while building long-lasting relationships.

My passion for dentistry and orthodontics began while I was an orthodontic patient myself! I love working with my hands and expressing my artistic side. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University where I received several awards for academic achievement. After completing a residency in general dentistry at the University of Connecticut, I went on to pursue specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Rochester.

Learning is a lifelong journey and participation in continuing education keeps me current with the latest technologies, methods, and treatments. I regularly attend continuing education courses at a local, national, and international level. I am also an active member of several dental and orthodontic societies and study groups.

Originally from Canada, I am proud to call Connecticut my home along with my husband, our three children, and our dog. Outside of the dental office, I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and being outdoors.

By providing warm, friendly patient care, my goal is to make orthodontic treatment a positive experience for all of my patients. After more than ten years of practicing orthodontics in both private orthodontic and multi-specialty practices, I am excited to be a part of the team at Dixon Orthodontics!

I have been working in the orthodontic field for over 10 years. Myfavorite part of my job is watchingpatients transform and seeing their smiles after they finish treatment. I enjoy educating patients on the importance of dental hygiene and appliance care. I love the team I work with and every day is a new adventure.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, attending death metal concerts and spending time with my son and daughter. If you ask me to share my M&M's I cant promise you I will, but if I do, I will certainly be handing you a toothbrush and asking you to go brush!

My husband Todd and I have two grown children, Nick and Laura. Both have had orthodontic treatment and should have worn their retainers more! I am an avid Red Sox fan, I have tried just about every recipe on Pinterest, and I enjoy hiking the trails of New England with my family.

I started my journey in dentistry in 1984 in general and pediatric dentistry. As our new patient coordinator, I will be one of the first people you meet when you come to the office. I will take your orthodontic records so the doctors can plan the best treatment for you. I love making patients feel comfortable and seeing them smile with excitement to start treatment. Their smiles at the end of treatment are even better!

My newest joy in life is being a Gramma to the two most adorable grandchildren. I also have a sweet fianc, three wonderful grown children, and two sons-in-lawwhat more could I ask for! When the weather is nice, I love to golf!

My work at Dixon Orthodontics includes chair-side assisting, as well as making sure the floor runs smoothly throughout the day. The best part of my job is being surrounded by amazing coworkers who make work fun! Of course, I also love playing a helping hand in creating beautiful smiles for our patients!

I live in Farmington with my husband David and our three children Justin, Ashley, and Nathan. We have a dog named Lynx and a cat named Puma. Out of the office, I work as an EMT and enjoy spending quality time with my family

One of the best aspects of my job here is that I get to greet our patients with a smile the moment they enter our office. I love setting a great first impression of their time here! I also coordinate the doctors schedules and handle the finances and insurance. Everyone I work with is like family. We all work so well together to ensure the office runs smoothly and patients needs are being taken care of.

When I am not working, my husband and I are out and about with friends or family singing karaoke or spending quality time together. In the winter, when we aren't travelling for or coaching club volleyball, we are on the slopes, skiing!

I attended Springfield Technical Community College where I received my certificate in dental assisting. I went on to work in the pediatric dental field until 2012 and then transitioned to orthodontics. Here at Dixon Orthodontics, I work closely with the doctor and patients to provide the best care possible. As the sterilization coordinator. I make sure all standards are kept or exceeded in our office. My goal is to make all patients comfortable while going through the orthodontic process.

My wonderful fianc and our two-year-old son keep me busy outside the office. I attended a technical high school where I studied fashion merchandising and entrepreneurship where we designed clothing. I even won first place for our eco-friendly fashion competition for my dress that I made entirely out of sparkly glitter foam paper!

As the treatment coordinator, I work closely with our patients to help them understand their treatment plan. I love interacting with the patients and educating them on the importance of orthodontic treatment. Everyone here is ready and eager to help whenever necessary to ensure an outstanding experience for our patients.

In my free time, I love being with my family, as well as hiking, cooking, and reading. I especially adore my two little pups, Maximus Decimus Meridius Barry and Isabella Konstantinidis. I love to travel and enjoy whatever life has to offer.

Additionally, Dixon Orthodontics is the only orthodontic practice in the state that utilizes the ECOsmarte water purification system at the point of entry in the office. The system eliminates chemicals and heavy metals, and prevents biofilm from forming in the dental operatory water lines.
