As pediatric specialists, our dentists are trained in pediatric diagnosis and treatment, and are committed to keeping current on the latest advances in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Christensen grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1995 and was accepted to Dental School in 1997. Dr. Christensen graduated from Louisville School of Dentistry in 2001 and practiced as a general dentist in Twin Falls, Idaho from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, Dr. Christensen was accepted into the pediatric dental residency at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. While training at the Primary Childrens Medical Center, Dr. Christensen experienced every facet of Pediatric Dentistry. He and his family have lived in Southern Utah for more than 10 years.
Dr. Brett Christensen currently serves on the Health Advisory Committee for The Learning Center for Families and is a past president of the Southern Utah Dental Society. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Torres was born and raised in St. George and is excited to have the opportunity to be back home. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Utah University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2011. While at Baylor he was inducted into the Odontological Honors Society as well as the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. He continued on to complete a two-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Torres received excellent training at numerous clinics and hospitals including Childrens Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He had the privilege of working with many wonderful patients, and received comprehensive training with special health care needs children.
Dr. Torres serves on the Health Advisory Committee for The Learning Center for Families. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He scored in the top 3% in the nation of candidates on the qualifying board examination and is a board-certified member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
We love both Dr Christensen and Dr Torres. They are fantastic dentists and are so good at what they do. Very patient and caring. The staff is also amazing! Every person I’ve encountered was so friendly and patient. Very efficient as well. All around just such a great office and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

My kids LOVE this dentist and the entire staff is AWESOME!! Everyone make kid's feel comfortable and parents confident kids are getting BEST care! I highly recommend DPD and would give them 10 STARS!!

We just arrived to St George a couple days ago and our poor baby needed some dental work done. Dr Torres was very gentle with our son and did the job quickly and efficiently. He was also very friendly and great to work with, I would definitely recommend this office!!

The staff at Dixie Pediatric Dental were so friendly! This was my kids' first time going here and they felt so comfortable! As soon as we got there for our appointment, we were taken to the back to get started. They were very quick and thorough. I would definitely recommend taking your kids here!

Had our first visit there and we were VERY happy with the whole team we met! Every person took time to smile and engage with my 3 year old daughter. They showed her all the instruments and tools they used before they used them, and it really helped to keep her at ease and cooperative with everything they needed to do. We appreciate how kind and friendly everyone was, from the front desk to the techs to Dr. Torres.

Literally the best childrens dentist I've taken my son too! We just moved to St George and before our move my son needed to have some treatment done, but his previous dentist didn't show up and his appointment ended up getting canceled. I emailed Dixie pediatric dental and they got back to me so quickly. They were able to squeeze him in the same day they gave me a called. My son got the treatment he needed. The doctors and assistants were so very sweet and did whatever they could to make sure my son was comfortable. My son was very comfortable and relaxed during the whole treatment. I'm proud to say this will be an ongoing dentist for my son and his siblings. Since we just moved and don't have insurance here yet, they were still able to do his treatment at such a decent and affordable price. I can't say enough good things. Before I get started let me just say I am not related to anyone at this dentistry. I wasn't given anything for my review. I just genuinely had the best experience and wanna share. Ok first of all this isn't even my kids dentist office. Ha! My childrens dentist was out of town and we had an emergency for my 3 yr old. I called this dentist office in hopes they would see him that day! They got him in an hour later and we found out his front tooth was dead and his nerves were exposed and he was in deed in the worst pain ever! The entire office and the dentist himself were so nice and helpful and accommodating! My son had his tooth pulled. He slept through it with the laughing gas. It was such a great experience considering how awful the circumstances were. He is doing great now and pain free! Thank you!! Would so recommend this office and dentist!

This place is awesome! All the dentists and dental assistants are super friendly and gentle with the kiddos. They are set up for kids with two televisions per room so that the patient and any siblings that are there as well can watch a show while the procedure is happening. I would highly recommend Dixie Pediatric Dental to anyone with a young child.
