Dr. Baker graduated with high honors and as third in his class from the University of the Pacific Dental School in 1990. He completed his undergraduate work at CSUN. He and his wife Heather have four children. Dr. Baker thoroughly enjoys providing dental care: 'The art of dentistry, along with the science of healing, has always fascinated me. I enjoy every minute of practice and of life. We pride ourselves on providing the most gentle care possible.'
He continually educates himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques and approaches in order to offer you and your family state-of-the-art, gentle and personalized dental care. Dr. Baker has completed hundreds of hours of postgraduate training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Air Abrasion, Endodontics (root canals), Prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), Periodontics (non-surgical gum care), Oral Surgery, TMJ (jaw pain) Disorders and Orthodontics (braces).
Dr. Baker is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He is certified in Invisalign and has undergone training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute in neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry. He is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Tau Kappa Omega honor societies.
Dr. Kim is known for her caring personality and gentle touch. She is committed to providing the best possible care to her patients in a stress-free and relaxed environment. Dr. Kim has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry, anti-aging dentistry, and TMJ treatment. Dr. Kim is involved in a number of dental societies, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS), and the California Dental Association (CDA).
Seeing there is a need for dental care abroad has led Dr. Kim to serve on several mission trips to South East Asia and South America. She has also volunteered her time treating the underserved population in her local community.
Dr. Kristin Arita-Kim was born in Los Angeles, California and has lived inLos Angeles, New York, Chicago and Washington D.C. She completed herundergraduate education at the University of Virginia and went onto receive her doctorate degree from the University of Michigan School ofDentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Arita-Kim completed her GeneralPractice Residency in New York.
