I grew up in Moses Lake, so coming home to care for the people and community I know so well was natural for me. My parents owned B & S small engine repair, so every day after school you could find me there, working alongside my father and helping the family run the business. After graduating Moses Lake High School, I attended Big Bend community College where I met my beautiful wife, Lacey. I then transferred to Washington State University to complete my undergraduate degree, followed by the move to the big city of Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the top ranked dental schools in the nation. I chose the career of dentistry because it combines my love of the sciences, my ability to work well with my hands and my desire to work with people. I love how technical dentistry is and how it challenges me, not to mention the feeling I get when I am able to help someone get out of pain or improve their life by giving them a beautiful smile. I was one of nine students hand picked to pilot a new program called R.I.D.E that allowed me to gain some practical experience working in clinics for the six months before I graduated. I was lucky enough to be able to do that here at the Moses Lake Community Health Center, giving me a great jump start and helping me to graduate with about 3 times as much clinical experience as a normal dental student. Since graduating I worked for a short time at the Community Health Center and Job Corp. I am so happy to be back in my hometown and look forward to meeting you. I am lucky enough to be married to my wife, Lacey, for 16 years and have three beautiful little girls and one rowdy boy. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, running, basketball and thinking of fun things to keep my family entertained.

Anytime you see Dr. McHargue, these two ladies will be seating you and keeping you comfortable while they help with your care. These ladies are excellent at making you feel at ease and will assist during your treatment. They will also take x-rays, ask you about your medical history and take your blood pressure. Norma speaks Spanish and both are great at answering any questions you might have.

I am a new patient at Division Street Dental, and this entire dental office is top notch! The front desk is welcoming and goes above and beyond, and Haley the hygienist is amazing. If you have sensitive teeth or have had a bad experience with teeth cleaning in the past, Haley is just the hygienist for you - she was gentle, thorough, and wonderful. Dr. McHargue is also incredible. I had three fillings done in under an hour, didn't feel a thing, and wasn't the least bit sore once the numbing wore off. I highly recommend Division Street Dental!

They were able to squeeze me in the very next day and by the end of the day I was out of pain and smiling again. So grateful

Had a wonderful experience getting some much needed dental work done. Dr. McHargue was patient and kind and was able to quickly diagnose my problem. The procedure was quick and comfortable and most importantly, it was done very well. My new filling feels fantastic!

I love everyone at division street dental! I'm an actor/singer/rapper in live theatre as well as the occasional background acting gig in TV or music videos. One of my smile teeth broke almost completely off a few months back, which really slowed down my progress in building my career, as I just stopped auditioning for any roles due to the missing tooth. I am in recovery from a horrible drug addiction that lasted the better part of 15 years. The toll taken on my teeth was obvious to ME, but the moment that front tooth broke off, I felt like my smile just screamed all kinds of horrible things about me. So I slowed down on the smiling also. Today, Dr. McHargue (who I went to high school with) gave me back my smile and I cried. I feel like I can smile again which is nice because I have a lot to smile about. Also, the ladies in the office are all so incredibly kind and helpful. Can't wait for my next visit. It's going to be a great journey to a fully restored mouth full of fabulous teeth and there's nowhere I'd rather entrust that to than the amazing folks at Division Street Dental. Dr. McHargue you're my hero and I'm proud to be your biggest fan

I cracked a tooth and it was giving me a bit of trouble. I didn't have dental coverage other than through the Veterans Choice Program through the VA. Dr. McHargue and his staff handled all the legwork of getting me approved through the VA to get treatment done locally at his office, instead of waiting over a month for an appointment at the VA in Walla Walla! They got me in a fixed the problem by installing a crown. Their office's care to detail and patient comfort was exceptional. The office was always clean and well organized. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Division Street Dental, Dr. McHargue, and their staff! Five stars!

I have always had bad experiences with dentists, until Doc McHargue. He is the best dentist. Very good guy. He personally has called to check on me after I had my visit with him. My mouth only hurts in one place and its not enough to cry about. Where all other dentists my mouth hurt tremendously. Not with this doctor. He is very good at his job. I won't go see anybody else but him. I highly recommend him. His whole team is excellent, friendly and caring. Thank you very much for the positive experience.

Dr. McHargue has helped me on several occasions and I've finally got around to write him a review. My sister-in-law first referred me to him and the whole office has not disappointed. I'm like a lot of people who don't really want to go to the dentist, but he has a real laid back attitude and didn't push anything on me. His attitude makes going to the dentist very easy now. He's an awesome guy!

I have nothing but praise for the staff and Dr. The highest quality of professionalism and work. I have been a patient for many years. As is my wife.

Poor bedside manner. Prescribes acetaminophen and ibuprofen for severe pain (hint: bad idea to mix, bad for liver) very condescending.

Had a really bad tooth and was in a lot of pain, called when they opened and they got me in right away even though I was a new patient and they were booked out. Numbed me up to help me out and came back in a few hours for a root canal. Great people, super friendly, and good at what they do. Definitely recommend. And I never write reviews.
