Dental implants contain two key elements that are connected together to form the entire tooth replacement. The first is a titanium post. Titanium is a biocompatible material meaning that it is almost never rejected by the body. This post is inserted into the jaw bone beneath where the missing tooth would be. The disruption to the bone to place the post stimulates it to grow around it, securing it permanently in place. This process is known as osseointegration and is an essential component of the dental implant process. The success of the procedure hinges on its success. For this reason, our dental team will need to be satisfied that osseointegration has been successful before you will be fitted with the second element of your implant the artificial tooth. After fitting your implant post, you will be given a temporary crown until osseointegration has been confirmed.
The second element of dental implants is the visible portion of the tooth. This is made from a porcelain crown that has been custom-designed to perfectly fit in the space where your tooth is missing. This is then attached to the implant post, which protrudes up through the gums. This completes the dental implant.

Dr Rubinoff is the tooth whisperer! I had a amazing crown done by her 12 years ago, then she left the practice I frequented and I regrettably didn't follow her. Several dentists later I found her again and visited her state of the art clinic in Manhattan for a tooth restoration. Her work is as exceptional as ever, if not better. I'm so glad to have found you again Dr.Rubinoff! Do not deprive yourself of the opportunity to receive considerate and expert work at the hands of a passionate professional.

Dr Rubinoff has been my dentist for over 4 years. Dr Rubinoff is extremely knowledgeable of all updated Dental procedures, she is also gentle, caring and patient. Her Manhattan office is beautiful and state of the art. I also appreciate how caring and helpful her staff is. Like I told Dr Rubinoff a few years ago "she gave me my smile Back" Dr Rubinoff is truly the best!

DR RUBINOFF IS AMAZING!! From regular check-ups to my invisalign treatment. She is very professional, courteous and kind. She explains the process very well and will work with you in terms of what insurance covers and what you can afford. I've already recommended her to my friends and also, she helped my sister when her tooth chipped when she fell!! Often we ignore the health of our teeth but they are more important than we realize. Any investment to it can only make it better. I love my smile even more now and she's an enormous part of it. Thank you Divine Smiles!!

I went to Dr Rubinoff because she was close to where I live. I arrived pre pandemic with broken veneers that were 15 years old. Then, Covid hit and they were closed- not awful since I was wearing mask and once things started re-opening she invited me back in with all the precautions. taken and she laid out all my options. I could do this piece by piece, top then bottom, or all at once and I de cided to get it all done at once. We began the process of getting my mouth ready for a full set of crowns. It took some time, a root canal, and lots of impressions they took the time to do it right. They had beautiful crowns made for me and she put them all in. Once done, I was upset that I had to continue to wear a mask and hide my gorgeous teeth! I continued to get them cleaned there regularly and when masks came off, my friends and family noticed my teeth right away. I return regularly for my cleanings! Mouth/teeth care is important and expensive. I am not going to trust it to a dental club- I want the one on one communication and attention that I get at Devine Smiles with Dr Rubinoff.

I just recently had my veeners done by Dr. Rubinoff. She is the best dentist that I have come into contact with. Her attention to detail is unmatched she is a perfectionist and it definitely shows in her work. The office is in immaculate conditions and the staff is such a pleasure to be around. Dr. Rubinoff is simply the best. Her new office in Manhattan is modern, warm, and friendly. From the moment you walk in, you are treated with respect, kindness, and caring. Dr. Rubinoff is professional, well-educated and takes the time you need so you understand exactly what treatment you need. She explained in simple language what my plan would be for my implants and how she could whiten my teeth. She is thorough and I have never looked better.
