Today we go in for a follow up appointment for my daughter and the lady from billing comes out into the main sitting area and says can you believe we still have not been paid yet? and then proceeded to tell me I need to contact the insurance company and find out why they have not paid because if they don't get paid she is going to ( and I quote) stick me with the balance. I would seriously consider replacing her. Every encounter I've had with this lady has been beyond horrible.

I have had the worst experiences at this location. The first appointment was wonderful. The dentist was amazing and came up with a great plan to get my teenage daughter back on track but every experience after that has been absolutely terrible. I came into this being told that my daughter would have her crowns on before school was to start back. She had been suffering extreme bullying so that seemed like a huge relief. However none of that happened even though prior authorization had been approved they do not complete any work until they have been paid by the insurance company. I was never told of any of that. Not once did anyone say even though we have a prior authorization we will not complete any work until we are paid by the insurance company. So naturally I was very upset when I learned they actually had the crowns but were waiting on payment. The dentist made an exception a few weeks later after reading my negative review and had the office call to schedule the appoint. I felt like they made me a priority and wanted to rectify the situation. She got the crowns on and they look absolutely beautiful but today I take her in for a follow up so they can make sure her bite is correct and no sooner than my daughter goes back the employee over authorizations and billings comes out front in the waiting area and says "Can you believe we have still not been paid for those crowns"! I didn't even acknowledge her as it was very rude. She then proceeds to say well you need to contact the insurance company and see why they have not paid us because if they don't pay I WILL stick you with the bill. I did not ask for you to complete work that you haven't gotten paid for. Your dentist made that decision to move forward and honestly I will be forever grateful for that. That changed my daughter entire life but I will not be threatened nor spoken to as if I am a child. A phone call could have been made at any time prior to todays appointment and you do not have to treat people like that. There is one employee that is normally sitting at the front. She was there the day my daughter finally got the crowns. She is an asset to that business. She explained the authorization process and was always very professional and kind. I know these reviews can sometimes fall on deaths ears but your billing/insurance auth department needs training. Not training on how to do her job but training on how to interact with people and her co workers. I refuse to be spoken to in the manner that she spoke to me but I pray she does not treat others the way she has me. Something tells me it wasn't the first and certainly won't be the last as she was quiet smug and confident in the way she spoke to me so it seems as that type of behavior has not only been encouraged but allowed.

I came in for a cleaning and was seen right when my appointment was scheduled. I was walked through the entire process with all of my questions answered. Definitely would recommend this dental office!
