I've had several bad experiences here and have chosen to leave and find a new dentist. I have had three different dentists in the span of about one year and their turnover rate is unacceptable.

My husband and I got cleanings and exams as new patients after confirming that District Smiles was in network with our dental insurance. 6 months later we were sent a surprise very large out of network bill. The office and their billing office have been unresponsive and unhelpful as I try to get this bill removed from my account, I have been trying to reach management for weeks to no avail. Surprise bills are illegal and I cannot recommend District Smiles. Update: District Smiles removed our outstanding balance as a courtesy. It was a frustrating situation but I am grateful it has been resolved.

My family has been going to District Smiles about 3 years. In that time the ownership has changed several times and it felt like the staff was completely different every time I went in for a cleaning. The final straw came when my wife went in for a crown and was advised that the office was now listed as out of network. Our insurance has not changed. If the insurance network of the office changes that kind of information needs to be shared up front. Ultimately the constant volatility of ownership and staff turn over leading to a network change has driven us to a new family dentist in Bethesda. The people are nice but the odds are you will only ever see them once.

I came to District Smiles a few times and can definitely recommend them as a dental office. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Dr. Majd was very professional, courteous, and made me feel comfortable right away. The office is very clean, efficient, and in a great location. I can't say enough good things! Highly highlyyy recommend!

"Amazing Dentist" doesn't even begin to describe Dr. Majd. I'm the type of person who will wait until teeth are basically falling out of my head before I see a dentist. Because of this, I had 2 broken teeth that other dentists stated needed removal/implant. Dr. Majd was not only able to save both teeth, he has been able to repair others saving me thousands. Dr. Majd worked hard to try to keep me at ease and comfortable knowing my dental stress, and he gave me back my smile! Hands down amazing!

I have had two cleaning at this office, and Dr. Majd has been wonderful every time! The office took COVID precautions at every visit, temperature checks and surveys to make sure we are COVID free and safe. William is go great, he is at the front desk and greets you with a big friendly smile every time, and has helped me when I had questions regarding my insurance. Dr. Majd and his hygienists are meticulous and take their time making sure your teeth are clean and healthy. Dr. Majd is professional but also very funny! I honestly couldn't stop laughing at times. I really do enjoy going to him and his team for my future dental visits. Every time I leave his office I have a big clean smile on my face!

This is the best dentist team ever. The office is very clean and professional. William is always super kind and accommodating and Dr. Majd is very friendly knowledgeable and personable. District smiles keeps you smiling. I highly recommend.

Where do I start????? From the ease of making an appointment to the professional greeting and mannerisms of everyone in this office, I am extremely satisfied. William is very knowledgeable and remembers all the details of my (and my daughter) treatment plans. Syed did an amazing job cleaning my teeth in the most gentle manner I have ever experienced. Diamond is a gem (pun intended)...always courteous and very professional. But let's talk about Dr. Majd....not only did he do a root canal where I experienced no pain or swelling , but he (personally) called me the next day after hours to follow-up. I have recommended this office to many friends and colleagues since my first visit.

Just went In for a consultation for a sensitive tooth and they were able to do the filling the same time. The staff was friendly and great and the dentist had a good sense of humor.

I recently moved to Northern VA, but still make the trek into DC to go to District Smiles, because they are absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and caring but also efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

This office is knowledgeable, friendly and return phone calls in a timely manner. The office personnel is warm and greeting and the office is very clean. I've gotten cleanings and tooth fillings so far and their work is very good quality and I am genuinely pleased. Excellent dentist and hygienist and assistants.
