He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University, NY. He went on to complete a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey before attaining his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Paul went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Baltimore V.A. Medical Center where he served as chief resident. During his time at the V.A., he focused on restorative, aesthetic surgical and implant dentistry for our nations veterans. Dr. Paul gained experience in treating and managing the dental needs of medically complex patients as well as the aging population.
She stays up to date with the latest in modern dentistry by regularly attending some of the most prominent dental lectures in the country. In 2015, she achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. She studies advanced restorative dentistry at the prestigious Spear Education campus. She completed a 2 year continuum at the Academy of GP Orthodontics and is Invisalign certified. She also completed the implant continuums at Engel Institute and Garg Implant Seminars.
She has volunteered with the Mission of Mercy project and many dental clinics for the underserved over the past 15+ years - most recently, the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. She loves dentistry and believes in treating patients with the same quality of care that she would want for herself.

Best dental experience I've ever had. They were so kind and knowledgable, I never felt anxious or uncomfortable. 100% recommend. I had Dr. JiEun Kim and she was incredible.

Can't recommend a place that has the physicians emergency number behind a voicemail turned off. Business hours don't match on Yelp or Google Maps, or just plain Google, I was scheduled for an appointment when the office was closed. Edit: Told to send an email, I've driven by the office and can confirm the hours, for at least; Thursdays are wrong, there was no one at the premises, and the mail was slid under the door, I'm just updating for transparency. Second edit for transparency: They were closed from 12PM on Wednesday, until Friday morning, during which period, the physicians phone was turned off for emergencies. They haven't updated their business hours so it says they're still closed today until Monday, will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau and continuing with another dentist.

District Dental Group is awesome. They are so gentle and between the provided sunglasses and the comfortable reclining chair, I could have fallen asleep! From the moment you walk in you are welcomed. I am new to the District Dental Group; however not new to dental healthcare experiences. The DDG administrative staff exceeded my expectations with friendly previsit information and reminders. The on-site dental staff set treatment expectations for every step of the visit, reducing any anxiety. The professionalism, positive attitudes, and authentic concern for patients was refreshing. The physical setting in both waiting and treatment rooms is bright. The state-of-the-art dental technology is AMAZING! Looking for a dentist, look no further. The dentist is the most impatient one among the six dentists I worked with from three different states of America. She doesn't seem to care about the patient at all. I gave 1 star to the front desk and 1 to the hygienist and 1 to the office which did the job.

This is the best dentist office I've ever been to. All of the receptionists are kind and welcoming, and the hygienists are the same. Dr. Paul is very friendly and always asks how you've been while doing a great job on your teeth. The office is also very clean and modern looking. Would definitely recommend!

By far the best dental experience I have ever had! JiEun Kim the hygienist that did my cleaning is the best hygienist I have ever been to. The quality and care provided by Ji is absolutely second to none. It is so impressive the outcome of the cleaning, bright and white teeth's, resulted in receiving many praises from co-workers -- an absolutely comfortable experience, like an actual Angel did the work. I simply can't say how impressed and thankful I am to Ji, for going the extra mile to make sure that I felt at ease and comfortable during visit. Her detail-oriented personality, superb dexterity skills, and compassionate attitude makes her consummate professional. Ji, Thank You for a Job Well Done!!! I have been coming to this place for a few years. I have never met a more friendly medical staff. They run a tight ship and always start my appointments within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment. You can really tell this office is well taken care of because of how neat and clean it looks and feels. I highly recommend this dentist office.
