In 2011, after working as an associate dentist in Houston and in North Texas, Dr. McIntosh realized her dream of opening her own dental practice. As a native of North Texas, she is excited to bring her conservative, patient-focused approach to North Fort Worth and the surrounding communities. Dr. McIntosh designed her office and assembled her team to provide the highest level of personalized clinical care in a warm and inviting dental office environment, resulting in what she calls the Distinguished Patient Experience. The Distinguished Patient Experience is central to Dr. McIntoshs goal of practicing modern, state-of-the art dentistry while preserving old-fashioned values and the life-long doctor-patient relationship. Dr. McIntosh invites prospective patients to experience what her patients have found that distinguishes her practice from the run-of-the-mill dental office.
Dr. McIntosh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, one of the top dental schools in the country, and was recognized for exhibiting clinical excellence. She continuously pursues training in the latest dental procedures and technologies to ensure the best care for her patients. Additionally, Dr. McIntosh is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the North Texas Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. When not with her patients, Dr. McIntosh enjoys spending time with her husband, Doug, and her two sons, Alexander & William. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and decorating for all manner of holidays.

It's always a wonderful experience with all of my dental work being done at Distinguished Dental. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I drive an hour to get here and back every time I come so you know I must really trust and believe in the staff here and the dental work they all do. Dr. McIntosh and her team are top notch. I've been one of her patients since 2011 and can't say enough great things about her work (she sees our entire family and several of our friends). She's conservative and is going to suggest what is in the patient's best interest. You'll find the customer service and genuine decency of her staff to be first rate.

When I needed a new dentist, I read some reviews and decided to give Distinguished Dental a try. I had high expectations after reading the reviews and the staff exceeded my expectations! From the front office staff that made me feel welcome to the medical staff who were professional, efficient, and caring (Jordan is a phenomenal hygienist) to the doctor and office manager who were appreciative of my business. Could not have possibly had a better experience

Wow! This five star experience was also an all-star experience. Dr M is very professional in the areas of friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Dr M is in a beautiful new building, however has been in the business neighborhood for over 10 years. The entire staff gives the same qualities during the visit. Even got a 25 cent tour at the start. High recommended in the entire Metroplex.

Folks I'm a creature of habit. So when learning my dentist of 13 years in Lewisville was leaving for a new office an 1 hour away, I said I'm following you! I had to backtrack months later, upon discovering the new office doesn't accept insurance. I did extensive research, for a female dentist, with good reviews, accepted insurance and near my home/work. I landed on Dr. McIntosh. I was impressed on my 1st interaction with the office on how warm they were in making my appointment and guiding me in the transition. Even more impressed upon arrival at a sparkly new building 10 minutes from home and warm greeting with receptionist. Still was apprehensive and thought a diamond could be cubic zirconia so let's wait for final opinion. Then I met Cindy/hygienist (forgive me if I got the name wrong) who's a rockstar in her field and experienced with a personality to match. She did a great job inspecting & cleaning my teeth along with some advice on an outstanding issue I had with a previous dental claim, since she used to manage a dental office in the past. Then Dr.McIntosh came in who was friendly, comforting and experienced noticing I needed to get a filling done on a tooth that was worked on from my previous dentist. The procedure was completed under 5 minutes and the tooth looked even better than when I walked in. Final conclusion: Dr. McIntosh and Distinguished Dental team is a real Diamond with the highest clarity! I found my new tooth fairy and change can be not only good but great!

It has been a little while since I have been to the dentist so I was super nervous. But from the staff that greeted me to the last staff member I spoke to was the best dental experience I have ever had. They were so professional but super friendly. They discussed everything in detail and were concerned with my comfort level the entire time. I am excited to be able to bring my children there next week. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

The retirement of our dentist necessitated our family finding a another one. Concerned with the current emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, we looked for a dentist invested first and foremost with sound, documented dental health practices. I've seen dentist in other countries, across the U.S. and for decades within the military and no other dentist or supporting staff have provided a finer example of medical professionalism, customer service and attention to detail than Dr. McIntosh, Cindy, Randi and Sylvia.(And the receptionist who's name I didn't get). While the office is new, modern, well designed to accommodate patients. it's the staff and their leadership that give life to this successful dental practice.

After moving to Keller 9 years ago, I received an ad for a local Dentist named Dr. Sheri Macintosh. She and her team turned out to be my favorite Dental team ever. I'm in my 60's and have been going to the Dentist every 6 months since I was a child. She is very gentle, detailed and practical in her approach. A very up to date, innovated Dr. who knows her stuff! The office staff is very good. They helped me find a Dental discount plan. I especially love the way Cindy, the lead hygienist, cleans my teeth! Very thorough and precise! I am new to the area and didn't have a dentist. I woke up the other day, in pain and mouth swelling up. Headed to work and was advised to stop by Distinguished Dental. Walked in the door, nervous and in pain. From the receptionist Stephanie getting me seen right away and Sherry advising me on future treatment. I'm afraid of going to the dentist, but Terry made the whole experience fantastic! She is exceptionally sweet and even sent beautiful cards to our home, but HEY everyone is wonderful. In about 3 hours, Dr. Sheri installed a new crown and completed two fillings. Not only did they relieve my discomfort, but they also made me feel at ease. This is the most advanced, polite, and truthful dentistry I've ever seen. Thank you for your care and keep up the good work. God Bless.

I loved the clean look of the waiting room and the dental room. Staff was very friendly and thoughtful. Teeth cleaning and exam were through and they were very gentle.
