De Hunt is amazing,! He's not only skillful,, he's a kind and compassionate person. I needed extensive dental work. Dr Hunt understood we needed to work within my dental plan and budget. Dr Hunt took the time to assessed my very old dental work, address my current issues and build a plan going forward. After reviewing Dr Hunt plan he had Kathy, his Office Manager helped me navigate my dental plan and work within my budget. I have received so many compliments on my teeth. I drive 1 hour each way just to see Dr Hunt and his staff. I'm so thankful.

Absolute worst dental office in SE michigan. Every filling i had done by them had to be replaced, not to mention numerous root canals and crowns once I saw a real dentist. Do not waste your time or money here, your teeth deserve better.

I had to retract my 5 stars. My bite has changed since my crowns, having a ripple effect to my other teeth. Im having a lot of other problems now. My partner was also charged for an appointment we were told was covered, thats just been a huge pain.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Dr. Hunt is a great dentist and I will definitely be sticking with this office for future cleanings/dental work!

I'm new to Dr. Hunt's office and my experience has been wonderful. The staff and Dr. Hunt are all very nice, great bedside manner (or chair side ) all questions are answered and they educate you very well. Great atmosphere.

This is your ideal neighborhood dental office. I came in as a new patient and they got me set up very quickly, and I was in and out for cleaning and exam in less than 45 mins! The staff is also very kind / welcoming and Dr. Hunt is very thorough. If you are coming from the east side it's a bit of a drive but well worth it.

I called Distinctive Dental Smiles in a panic Saturday a.m. asking if I could get in for an emergency. I was in a lot of pain due to a filling that fell out. (The filling was not put in by DDS.) Unfortunately they didn't have anything. Fast forward 3 min. DDS called ME back and said I could come right in the Dr would stay for me!!! Are you kidding me! Who does that? THEY DO! When I got there everyone SUPER nice. I was scared and everyone reassured me that I was okay! And I was! I ended up needing a root canal. I cried. Dr. Hunt reassured me I was going to be just fine! He was super gentle and so so kind. They went above and beyond for me. They didn't have to. I will be using Distinctive Dental Smiles for my dentist office from now on.

Dr. Hunt is the dentist to go to. His bedside manner (chair side?) Is exactly what I needed before letting a medical professional perform any service for me. I went several years without dental care due to my own negligence and faced serious procedural work to return to a smiling face again. Just before meeting Dr. Hunt I met and was evaluated(receiving quotes) from another dentist. I was left extremely uncomfortable with that experience, with that dentist. While there was no difference in the care and procedures I required, there was an extreme difference in the two Doctor's approach to addressing the entirety of the experience and the planned care. While I have no doubt Dr. Hunt is a busy professional, he took the time to hold detailed conversations with me about what we could and couldn't achieve with my current coverage. As someone who very much likes to understand what is happening to me, being done to me, available to me, I needed that understanding gained by talking to Dr. Hunt. That other dentist? He lost my business for no better reason than not spending 10-15 minutes talking to me. And as for the work itself? I can't complain. I'm happy. I'm smiling again. And I'm optimistic that I will continue to do so with Dr. Hunt's continued care. And let's not forget a wonderful staff. From the front desk to the assistants at Dr Hunt's side everyone is polite, professional and can only add to that smile Dr. Hunt is caring for.

The whole team is great and the dr Hunter is one kind. Extremely talented and kind. I gotten the best teeth i ever have with him and his team. The hygienists are awesome too. I strongly recommend!

I was very nervous about my cleaning, as I was well aware of how swollen and sensitive my gums were, due to me being 7months pregnant. Dr.Hunt and his team were very accommodating, making sure that my visit was as comfortable and painless as possible.

This dentist is amazing, seriously, they are such a great group of people and they are always so nice and I cannot recommend them enough. I have always been afraid of the dentist. Growing up I didn't take great care of my teeth which always made my dental visits not very fun. At one point, I hadn't gone to the dentist is about 8 years, just because I would avoid it, which did me no good either! A couple of years ago I finally had an emergency that lead me to calling Distinctive Dental Smiles. I had called at 8am and they got me in right away at 9am to get it taken care of. They ended up having to pull three broken teeth that were all impacted and bugging me. I know that sounds awful, but really, it wasn't that bad. What was always my fear was having someone "judge" me for how bad I let me teeth get. But that's not what a good Dentist does though and I was silly to think that, they are there to help you and make you feel better! After a couple of years going to Dr. Hunt and his amazing crew not only is my mouth feeling better, I'm feeling better overall. Plus, my last visit I was told that my gums are actually getting better and my overall mouth health keeps improving. It made me so happy and I'm happy I found such an amazing dentist. My wife and daughter go here as well and when my almost 2 year old is old enough, she will go here too. I can't say enough about this place, thank you for all that you do.

It's been almost a year since my first visit with Dr. Hunt and his team when they discovered a white patch under my tongue. Dr. Hunt sent me for a biopsy and it did turn out to be cancer. I did have surgery to remove the cancer and it was successful due to the early detection by Dr. Hunt and his team. I am now 10 months out of surgery with no sign of recurring cancer. So thankful to Dr. Hunt for likely adding years to my life!

I've seen a lot of dentists in my life, some good, some not so good. I arrived at Dr. Hunts practice quite by accident. I broke my partial, and his office was the only one open on a Saturday. He took me right in, and repaired my partial in no time at all. He told me that he could make a better, more comfortable partial than what I had, and he was true to his word. My wife and I have been patients ever since. Dr. Hunt and his staff have a way of making you feel at ease and comfortable right from the start. His office and staff are amazing. All of his staff are warm, friendly, and display an obvious spirit of enthusiasm, and professionalism. The office has a warm, comforting setting, meticulously cared for. The atmosphere of the office, along with the attitude of his staff speaks well not only for Dr. Hunt, but the entire practice. Robert Yeomans
