Dr. Michelle Haman was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, where she graduated from City High School. She graduated from The University of Iowa and remained to attend dental school at The University of Iowa, College of Dentistry, where she received her degree in 1992. During her senior year, she received the American Society of Dentistry for Children Senior Award for most outstanding student of that discipline.
Dr. Michelle spent two years at The University of Kentucky in Lexington. There, she completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and was selected as chief resident her final year. She has been in private practice in Colorado Springs since 1994.
Dr. Michelle is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Southwestern Dental Society and the American Orthodontic Society.

We loved the clean environment, and the cavity free tree was a special touch! My Daughter got to put her name on the tree because she was cavity free! Very pretty, fun office!

Got us in same day as new patients when my daughter was experiencing pain from an old cavity. Front desk ROCKS! Staff is very pleasant and communicates wonderfully. Now all my children are seen here!

The dentist and assistants were caring, attentive and seemed very good at what they do! My daughters got their teeth cleaned, one had some fillings, and we had a dental emergency call last night and the dentist herself called to check on us and had us come in first thing today to get xrays. I feel like we are in good hands!

Dr. Harman and her staff are incredible. Nice, thorough, and attentive. Appts are relatively fast but they still pay attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Posting a five-star review again! We so appreciate Discovery Kids Dental! Great experience - got all five of my younger kids in at once, only an hour for cleanings & checkups for all! My kids felt like it was a party - balloons & goodie bags & sugar free lollipops!!

We just left the dentist for two children. It was fast and smelled and looked very clean. We enjoyed visiting this office. As long as we are in the area it will be our pediatric dentist of choice.

3 things I really appreciated. First, I got to be in the room with my son while he had a filling and a cap done, Secondly the doctor and hygenist answered every single question with patience and thoroughness. Thirdly, my son was comfortable. Well done!

I thought I was the only one who had issues here, but I see that I'm not. She seemed very impatient and rude the whole time. Didn't even attempt to make my children feel comfortable. And, on top of that, my kids were still complaining about tooth pain after getting fillings. So I took them to another Dentist, and they said that my kids still had cavities underneath the fillings.

Dr. Michelle Haman is absolutely the best pediatric dentist in Colorado Springs! After having major problems and traumatic experiences with other dental offices here in the springs, I was desperate to find someone who could help. My daughter suffers from major panic attacks and fears the dentist due to her traumatic past experiences. I couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Haman. Shes by far the best with making each visit very personal and comforting. Thank you so much!
