I love my patients. I feel honored that my patients allow me to be their caregiver and consider me, in some instances, like a family member. I am privileged to be a part of their lives and a part of their journeys to healthy smiles and better lives. Dr. David Stinchfield
Dr. Dave sees himself not just as a dental services provider, but as someone who is here to assist his patients in achieving their dental goals. His role is to provide the patient with the dental care and treatment options that will achieve his or her desired results, and answer any questions and offer the information that each patient needs in order to make educated decisions.
Dr. Dave is passionate about pursuing continuing education in his professional field. In addition, he is an instructor for CEREC CAD-CAM restorations and an area instructor for the Solea laser. He regularly takes courses in implant surgery, restoration, and orthodontics, knowing the importance of staying at the front of dental technology and advances in treatment options. Because he takes continuing education coursework, Dr. Dave is able to offer his dental patients the most effective, proven dental treatment options.
Dr. Dave lives in Washougal, WA, along with his wife Adina. The couple has four grown children and a grand-daughter. While time with his family is always a priority, Dr. Dave is also passionate about staying active. He enjoys the outdoors and escaping to the beautiful Columbia Gorge, where he runs countless miles. Dr. Tom S. Stinchfield is passionate about his work as a dentist. He loves how he is able to make a difference in his patients' lives through gentle, effective dental care and treatments. More than that, though, he thrives on the personal interactions with his patients, getting to know each person as an individual who has a life far beyond the treatment chair. Dr. Tom enjoys his time talking with his patients, catching up on the happenings in their lives, and sharing stories, jokes, and laughter. He has a great rapport with his patients, and sets them at ease during treatments. He is always available to answer questions, discuss treatment processes and options, and reassure those who are feeling a bit intimidated.
Prior to joining Discovery Dental, Dr. Tom served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy, in San Diego, CA, and in Okinawa, Japan. He speaks highly of the chance to serve those military personnel who protect our country and what an honor it was to provide the dental care they needed.
