Dr. Tracy D. Jenkins was born and raised on the west side of Idaho Falls. He graduated from the respected Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Jenkins continued his education with extensive dental implant training at the White Capp Institute Center for Dental Implant Training.
Dr. Jenkins is passionate about dentistry and is also very meticulous. With his attention to detail and artistic talent, Dr. Jenkins provides his patients with the best care possible. His greatest satisfaction comes from patients who are excited about their new smile. Dr. Jenkins loves getting to know his patients and considers it a privilege to serve them.
Dr. Jenkins vision is to provide life-changing dental care. In order to accomplish this, he started Discover Family Dental a new kind of dental office that focuses on three main services: General Dentistry, Dental Implants, and Childrens Dentistry. Patients have busy lives and appreciate having an office where their whole family can receive treatment under one roof. Dr. Jenkins has spent hundreds of hours educating himself and his team to provide our patients excellent treatment at a fair price.
Kristin has been a hygienist is Blackfoot since 1995, and absolutely loves what she does. She loves using the latest technologies here at Discover Family Dental to help maintain our patients health. She and her husband have four awesome kids. During the summer months they love to camp, and enjoy skiing during the winter months. Kristen is a hardcore Survivor fan and has never missed a season. Her biggest fears are getting lost and hobo spiders. She also loves DARK chocolate and ice cream, and is actively involved in church activities.

My family loves going to Discover Family Dental. They are great to work with and he works wonderful with children. My daughter looks forward to her dentist appointments, he explains what he is doing so she isn't worried about what he is doing in her mouth.

Honest upfront pricing, does not add in a bunch of extra to drive up the bill and make more money; unlike virtually every other place in SE Idaho. Also nice to see someone care and give back to community. Is active in many community events and service programs. The force is strong with his dentistry.

Wonderful experience at Discover Family Dental. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Jenkins is very personable and friendly. I have loved how I'm treated there from each dental assistant, hygienist and doctor and have been going here over a year and a half.

in simple words, Amazing. I have not been to a dentist in 20 years. I'm new to Idaho and had a tooth break while at work. They took the time to get me in and help me with the broken tooth. I had to have a crown on the tooth and Dr. Jenkins took the time to give me options and his recommendation. There where bumps in the road and they made sure i got in to get things corrected. There is a price to be paid for not going to the denist for 20 years and I am so glad I went here. They walked me through how to correct my neglect and set up a plan that worked for me. I hate going to the dentist but everyone here makes it fun. Dr. Jenkins has build an amazing team. I have a two month program set up to correct my teeth and after that i only get to see them twice a year. I'm kinda bummed. But, very happy that i get to enough eating and drinking without pain again. I'll never go anywhere else as long as i life in Idaho.

Discover Family Dental is the best dentist office around! I've been going here for the past 10 years and plan on staying here forever. The atmosphere of the office is very friendly and so is the staff, they are people I can trust. Dr. Jenkins is a great dentist and he is very personable as he truly cares about each patient and is great at communicating. Discover Family Dental is willing to work with you and they get the job well done in an efficient manner while keeping you comfortable. I don't have any complaints about this office and every time my teeth are worked on I feel comfortable and my worries of the fear of the dentist are easily erased and I leave every time with a nice bright smile on my face! They also have an option to do teeth whitening trays which I personally love. I would recommend this office to anyone!!
