Dr. Jaclyn Pak is a Sacramento-area native, raised nearby in Fair Oaks. She attended Mira Loma High School prior to heading to sunny UC San Diego where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Physiology/Neuroscience. Dr. Pak then headed to Los Angeles where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Masters of Science in Oral Biology degrees at UCLA School of Dentistry. She was active in both academic and social extracurricular activities. She spent many years conducting systematic review research on endodontic outcomes which led to multiple scientific paper publications in peer-reviewed journals. When she was not in the research lab, Dr. Pak enjoyed serving as ASB social chair to organize events for the dental student body. Dr. Paks adventurous spirit and desire to keep learning led her to Honolulu, Hawaii where she spent an additional year of training and completed a General Practice Residency at The Queens Medical Center. Here, she received one on one training with various dental and hospital specialists, giving her experience with working on the sickest of patients often times in emergency situations or in preparation for major surgeries.
As she had always hoped for, Dr. Pak returned to California following the completion of her training. She worked in private practice for 2 years in the Sacramento area prior to working in public health for 3 years in rural northern California. Dr. Pak and her husband, Nathan, finally settled down in Granite Bay where they reside with their 2 boys, Caleb and Noah. She has a large support network in Placer County, as her father, siblings, nieces and nephews, and many of her aunts and uncles reside in the area.
When she is not in the dental office, Dr. Pak enjoys spending time with her family. She is passionate about cultivating relationships in life and sharing her love of traveling, cooking, and the outdoors.
Joana attended Sacramento City College where she graduated from both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about dental hygiene and educating her patients to help them to maintain excellent oral health. During her free time, Joanas adventurous spirit takes her exploring outdoors. She loves spending time with her family and learning new things.
Kelli started her hygiene career right out of high school attending the prestigious USC Dental Hygiene Bachelors program. She has been helping patients maintain their healthy and happy smiles for almost 20 years. Kelli recently moved back to the area from the SF Bay to be closer to family. On her free time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her daughter and riding her Peloton.
Ashley is from the beautiful island of Oahu. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Kapiolani Community College and is working towards obtaining her Registered Dental Hygienist license in California. During her free time, Ashley freelances as a makeup artist. She enjoys traveling and finding the best boba shops in town.
Amanda has been working as a Registered Dental Assistant for 10 years in various general and specialty offices. This experience has provided her a wealth of knowledge of different aspects of dentistry. Amanda is a proud mom of 3 active boys. She enjoys taking them on muddy outdoor adventures to explore the area. When she can sneak away and take some time to herself, Amanda enjoys knitting.
Diane has been in the dental field since 2014. Truly a shining star, she quickly rose to become an office manager. She attributes her ability to handle tough situations, keep operations running, and multitask to having grown up on a farm in Idaho. Diane loves being able to help patients achieve happy, healthy smiles. Proud of her Portuguese heritage, Diane enjoys spending time outdoors with her family on her time off, especially her 3 boys.
Dr. Jaclyn Pak continues the legacy of Dr. Rob Meaglia in serving the residents of Rocklin and beyond with their dental needs. In June 2018, Dr. Jaclyn Pak acquired the dental practice and continues the tradition of commitment to quality dentistry to all patients, who are considered family. Dr. Pak and staff believe in patient education, disease prevention, and ethical decision making with our patients best interests at heart. They welcome patients of all ages for any dental need, big or small, into the bright and friendly office.
This year, the practice was renamed Discover Dental. It still remains a locally and privately owned and operated dental practice. Dr. Pak and staff believe in lifelong learning and have a passion for keeping up with the dynamically evolving practice of dentistry. They believe in the power and positive impact of a healthy smile and encourage patients to keep discovering their whole potential.

Dr. Pak runs a very professional and friendly office. We've got a plan in place to keep my teeth and gums healthy and happy. I am a senior. I need to make sure that I get my teeth are cleaned regularly, that I monitor any changes at this time, and I also am a grinder so I needed to have my mouthguard maintained and kept clean when I come for my regular appointments. Her staff is efficient and kind and the location is very easy to get in and out of as well. If you're looking for a new dentist or you want to try someone you haven't tried locally, I moved up here three years ago and have been incredibly happy with their follow up, their service when I'm in the office, and Dr. packs obvious professionalism.

I would highly recommend Dr Pak. She and her assistants do great work. She does a great job of making sure that you don't feel any pain, which is huge! Also, they work with you and your insurance to try to maximize your benefits, without costing you too much out of pocket.

Dr. Pak and her professional experts are providing my dental care efficiently, smoothly and painlessly. I had been going to this practice since 2003 when Rob Meglia, DDS was the main man. In his selection of Dr Pak to take over on his retirement, he chose wisely. I'm in good hands with Dr Pak and her dental hygenist, Suzanne, as well as the front receptionist.

I was able to get the appointment at the time and date that worked for me. 7:00 AM on a day that was going to be pretty hot. Nice at 7:00 AM and all day to do the other things that I needed to do. My cleaning went like clockwork and I was out before I knew it.

I have gone to this office for several years now. They are proactive in caring for my health. I love how they put things on "wait and see" instead of immediately doing a procedure that might not be necessary for a few years. This visit brought a new hygienist, and she was excellent. Dr Pak completed two implants for me on Nov. 15. She and her staff did a fantastic job on them. Within a day the new teeth felt natural and seem to fit perfectly. They also look good and match the rest of my teeth. I am so glad I went with the implants! Thank you R. Wallis
