Dr. Dipika Shah is one of the select group of dentists in the nation to receive the prestigious Fellowship, Master and Life Long Learning and Service Award from Academy Of General Dentistry. She is a past President of Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society and Board of Trustee, Past Trustee at NJDA. Alternate delegate at ADA.
Adorning the walls of her dental office are dozens of awards and certificates Dr. Shah has earned over the years. They include letters signed by President George Bush and Governor of NJ Chris Christi honoring her for dental services she has donated and other charity work in the community.
I live and breath good caring and quality dentistry, stated Dr. Shah and part of that requires keeping abreast with new technology and staying current with advances through continuing education taught by top-notch industry leaders and scientists. I spent my most awaken hours in my office, so this is my boat, and this is my vacation home when I spend money on new technology.
Much of that technology is aimed at making patients feel less stressed or anxious by giving attention to every detail. We are one of the first dental offices to have Ergo-Soothe massaging chairs, each room with TV, integrated with computers and headphones for patients entertainment and each chair faces large windows with a view.
We have state-of-the-art LED chair light to illuminate oral cavity for better diagnosis, 3D digital x-ray machine- like a Mercedes of the office for a sharper more detailed 3D view showing details to diagnose the quality and quantity of bone, abnormalities, vital structure near surgical sites, oral cancer lesions, and a lot more. Dr. Shah has made the investments in a very expensive noiseless electric drill, lasers, air abrasion, Cavitron, and many other technological advancements for patients care and comfort.
Being a mother, Dr. Shah knows how moms sometimes sacrifice their own health when they get too busy and can not find a baby sitter. Also, we see the entire family, and that means we see lots of kids. So she has equipped Kids room with television, toys, video games, books, and magazines, in close proximity to the front office staff to keep an eye on them. Dr. Shah also wants to make sure that her little kids patients do not ever fear to go to the Dentist and look forward to going on a field trip to Dr. Shahs office filled with fun.
Dr. Shah believes that clear communication and honesty are very vital to my patients oral health. Dr. Shah always explains to her patients RABC- risk, alternative, benefit, and cost and likes to educate her patients about the importance of caring for their teeth and how to care for their teeth.

I do not recommend this office for any major dental procedures or Invisalign. After the initial payment for Invisalign, they did not want to schedule follow up visits to ensure treatment improvements.Dr Shah was unclear about the follow up plan and how to bill for the procedure. The were incorrect bills submitted to the insurance and double billing for one filling procedure and was extremely hard to reach any person for explanation for these errors. After multiple requests, when the insurance reimbursement was finally received, it was only partially returned back to me. After over a year now, bills are not clarified and had to get the filings re done and change the provider. Addendum to your reply: The insurance information was given to Paula and staff two years ago in 2020 and there is awritten proof of insurance contacting your office multiple times from July 2021 and have not received a reply as yet.The intention is not to jeopardize anyone's reputation but is to draw attention to delays in care, service and communication in the last 18 months.

I have been seeing Dr Shah for my dental needs for over 10 years, and my whole family goes to her as well. She is an excellent dentist and is always up-to-date with the latest in dental science. I highly recommend her!

Dr Shah and her office assistant are the Best! Both are so kind and caring. Dr Shah is the only dentist I've been to that does all of the work start to finish. She is so knowledge and is an expert in the dental industry. I am so impressed with her. She does not take advantage and do any unnecessary dental work.She makes you feel safe and in good hands. Dr. Shah is by far the most knowledgeable dentist I've ever come by! She is compassionate and patient, yet quite thorough in sharing/delivering her expertise. Always takes the time to answer any and all questions. She also goes above and beyond to accommodate scheduling needs and maintain COVID protocols. The best!

I had chosen Dr shah due to my insurance coverage. During my routine visit, I was advised a lot of unnecessary procedures to be scheduled. When my first filling procedure did not go well with her, I chose to go to another dentist and got to know that none of these treatments were not even required. I would be very careful with believing what she recommends.

I have been going to Dr. Shah for well over 20 plus years. Shes the best. Extremely knowledgable and honest. She address all of your needs and concerns. I have sent her friends of mine and they think the same, so I'm always happy to refer her because I know I'm doing a good thing for people I care about. Her front desk receptionist,Paula is also extremely pleasant to deal with for all your appointments and needs. I wish going to all of my doctors was this pleasant! Besides the ordinary dental work you get and I have gotten from her,I have also had receded gums that she has helped me with,removal of the old silver filling and replaced with white and now I have started invisalign with her 12 weeks ago! So far,so great! I can already see such a difference! I will come back and review the invisalign again to share my experience when I am closer to being done.I put it Invisalign off for so long. I even looked into the cheaper ones on line but although they may straighten your teeth, they throw your bite off!! Dont do it. I have read too many horrible reviews and have even known a few people Personally. She has payment plans for those who need it.

Dr. Shah is a lifesaver! After my previous crown was done erroneously by Brighter Dental in Freehold causing it to fall out unexpectedly after ~18mos I called Dr. Shah at my business partners suggestion. When Dr. Shah picked up she explained that her office was closed and she was only in the office doing paperwork, however after understanding I was in pain she said come right in and I will see you! What Dr. shows that kind of understanding and concern for her clients well being in this day and age of big corporate medicine and insurance for profit?!?!? Dr. Shah will forever be my families Dentist from this day onward and she and her staff have my complete professional endorsement! What a breath of fresh air to have ethics brought back into the medical practice! Bravo!!!

Our whole family, including both of our children use Dr. Shah. My youngest, who is 7, has started the process of orthodontics with an upper and lower palette expanders. He's a very young 7 year old and nervous about anything new. Dr. Shah was so patient and treated him in a way that put him at ease immediately! She put in spacers a few days ago and he had no issues. Today the expanders were cemented in. I never thought he'd be ok with having all this done but he did great and is very excited to have a "beautiful smile"! We are very proud of him and can never thank Dr. Shah enough for how wonderful she has been with him!
