Welcome to DINO Kids Dental! Since 2020, our dentist, Dr. Celeste Mensah, and our team have provided patients with excellent dental care. We strive to make dentistry fun and comfortable for your child with our Dinosaur themed office and friendly team. Each child is special, and we provide personalized care to help your child maintain a healthy smile as they grow. We also have team members who speak both English and Spanish to accommodate your needs. Interpretation services for other languages can be arranged.
Our team welcomes and maximizes Medicaid, NC Health Choice and many other different commercial PPO insurances to ensure that were able to help as many kids as possible achieve healthy and bright smiles. Dentistry can be a source of anxiety for many children, which is why we offer sedation dentistry options for children who require them to help kids remain as relaxed and comfortable as possible during their care. We offer several different sedation dentistry options such as nitrous oxide, as well as ingested sedatives. Our team meets with every child and parent individually to discuss sedation dentistry options and to determine if your child requires sedation dentistry and which sedatives may best benefit them.
After obtaining one of my lifetime goals of becoming a dentist, my love for children and patients with special care needs led me to specialize in pediatrics and complete an additional two year Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where I served as Chief Resident.
I believe in a conservative and minimally invasive approach to treating dental concerns, as your childs comfort and safety are of the utmost importance to me. After blasting sugar bugs away all across America, I am so excited to be joining Dino Kids!!!
My son has Classical pku an she was amazing an very well educate to my son medical condition an when I ask certain question she had the answer an if not she go find out. Worth the eight hour drive to see her .
Cant say enough good about this people!! very friendly and they go above and beyond to help you out. I ended up taking her to the DINO kids dental emergency and they went above and beyond to fit her her to fix a bad infected tooth that some other company said there was nothing wrong.

Office is clean and staff are very nice. My kids loved their dentist. However, only problem is, my daughter was to have an appointment, I tried calling on a Thursday and apparently office was closed at 2? No biggie. I responded to reminder text messages to reschedule my daughters appointment. Got nothing back. I work office hours and wasn't able to call to reschedule on that Friday (appointment was Monday) got another call/text from Dino on Saturday to which I called the number back and didn't get anyone on the phone. Appointment was 9:30 am Monday and I couldn't get it rescheduled within that 24 hour period. BOTH my kids were dropped from the office and we got a letter basically saying my kids would be better off elsewhere. I mean I can see having to pay 30 bucks or something for a no show but to be dropped completely and your other child having to be dropped too? Extreme as hell.

My kids love coming here! I never have any issues with telling my kids we have dentist appt . The staff is great they make sure my kids are comfortable and each time they have great experience. The facility is clean and very kid friendly.Also after each visit they give a coin to use in toy machine.

I took my 5 year old here for the first time today. From check in to check out, things went smoothly. Satanea and Dr. Mensah were very attentive and answered all of our questions. My son was entertained and had a great time. I will definitely recommend this pediatric dental office.

We didn't have a very long or extensive experience with Dino Dental yet but what we have encountered has been amazing thus far. It was our 4 yr olds first dental ever and they were soooo patient and explained every single move before doing it to comfort her. The dentist even came in and asked her, personally if she was having any issues with any pain and did her best to treat her like her own person. As lf right now I would definitely recommend Dino to parents seeking a good, clean, and awesome dental group! Those ladies are all awesome

This is the best children dentist I have seen thus far! My kids are happy and excited to go to the dentist. The staff is nice, fun, respectful, and love the children most of all. I started taking my son(2) to Dino dental back in April for a second opinion at that time.. Well I returned to them about a week ago as I went to them again for a second opinion. My son's dentist at that time was recommending something he didn't even need!! Dino dental reassured me he didn't need anything done at all. I trust them way more than the other place. Their vibes and energy were so contagious. The aura was so refreshing. My son will be going here for now on for sure!!!

This office is amazing the staff is so friendly and they do everything they possibly can to keep your children comfortable. My son had fill ins done today and they sang to him the entire time they were working on him. I loved the experience and would recommend for anyone who's kids have trouble with strangers. I have a 12 yr old and a 7 yr old and both boys have had an awesome experience at Dino Dental. Staff is extremely knowledgeable of working with kids and makes the visits such a pleasant experience. It's definitely worth the hour's drive to go there.

This is my daughter's second appointment with Dino Kids Dental. Everyone from the front desk receptionists to the dentist assistants and dentist are extremely professional and friendly. I especially loved how they sang to my daughter during her examination and cleaning to help calm her nerves. Pleasant experience each time!
