Dr. John Dinka is a 1986 graduate of the University of Detroit, now the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. After several years of providing dental care as an associate, he co-founded Dinka Dental with his wife Catherine in 1989.
Dr. John is a member of the Macomb District Dental Society, the Detroit District Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the UDM School of Dentistry Alumni Board of Directors, the Dental Lifeline Network of Michigan, and Healthy Kids Dental.
Outside of the office, Dr. John has been involved for over 20 years as an adult leader with the Cub Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America programs, in addition to being an avid classic and muscle car enthusiast.
Dr. Ingrid joined Dinka Dental as an associate in 2001. She derives great satisfaction by helping her patients find and keep their beautiful smiles. Her passion is oral health maintenance and education. She looks forward to having you as a patient.

Very good experience. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Dinka explained the procedure thoroughly and was always making sure I was ok and comfortable.

It was a very comfortable welcoming experience. From the Ladies up front to the staff in the back, everyone of them was friendly and professional. I recommend Dinka Dental to everyone I know. The dentist is never fun, but at Dinka they get as close as possible. Try it You will Love it!

Dr. Ingrid filled 2 cavities on my 5yo and it went well. My son felt comfortable in the chair and said it wasn't scary and it didn't hurt. Just a little pinch and afterwards a bit sore and numb (to be expected & this was his 1st experience with cavities). They gave him a gift bag full of toys which he loved! Of course all the staff are always wonderful with my family. Thanks Dinka Dental.

I broke a tooth & amazingly they were able to fit me in & in just a short time. Everyone in the office are so friendly & make you feel at home. In less than an hour my tooth was prepared for a temporary crown till the permanent one was ready. My family all go to Dr. John Dinka because he is an amazing dentist & one that cares about each patient. Do yourself a favor call for an appointment!

Prompt , efficient, entire staff is pleasant and most welcoming. Both Doctors are very good at what they do and will accommodate to make sure all is taken care of. I can't say enough positive about this office. A great team!

I've been going here for a few years now. I wish I would have found Dinka Dental back when I was kid. I've had horrible experiences with dentists in the past and now I can't step foot into one without major anxiety. However, the staff at Dinka Dental is beyond nice and nothing short of amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
