Hello and thanks for visiting our website to learn a little more about our practice. I am originally from Vancouver, British Columbia and did my undergrad studies at the University of British Columbia in biochemistry. Dental school took me to the windy city of Chicago where I studied at Northwestern University. After I finished dental school, I worked in Chicago for a few years before moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2005. I associated for a few years before taking over for Dr. Allan Zalewski in Lynnwood back in 2011.
Outside of the office I can be spotted hanging out with my wife and daughter taking in all that Seattle has to offer. I enjoy trying out new restaurants and love eating and drinking new things. My wife and I spend a lot of time with our daughter and support her with all her activities in school and outside of school (mainly ballet and whatever sports she can fit in her schedule). I used to be a volleyball junkie but also enjoy other sports and exercising. My other interests include travel and computers.
Dentistry is a lot of things including fun, stressful and rewarding! I try to be as honest as possible and take as many pictures as I can so that you can see what I see. I also try to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to your dental needs, but am sensitive to client needs and will never be aggressive in my treatment philosophy. I love getting to know my patients and what their interests outside of dentistry are and enjoy answering any questions they have for me. Hopefully we can meet one of these days!
Kayla has been assisting for 8 years since graduating from Everest College. She currently resides in Snohomish with her husband and three daughters and their 4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 gecko and 13 fish! She loves to spend her weekends camping or bowling with her family and watching her daughters compete in swimming. She joys taking the time to get to know her patients and making sure they always feel comfortable in the chair.
Our talented and friendly front office manager has been a care coordinator for over 17 years since graduating from Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA. She started her career at Pacific Northwest Periodontics and has a passion for patient care and makes lasting professional relationships with those she encounters. She has 1 daughter and 2 sons, 6 grandkids and 2 great granddaughters that she enjoys spending time with. Cherry is an Everett resident and loves traveling with her family.
Anna is a graduate of Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene and was voted Most Outstanding Graduate by the Washington Dental Hygiene Association. She has received the prestigious Service Above Self Award by the University Rotary and does several volunteer activities in the community. She is a local Edmonds resident and loves going to the ocean with her family when she is not giving gentle periodontal care to her patients.

Have been going to this office for many years and have always felt well taken care of. Friendly staff who work hard to ensure their patients are accommodated. Dr Dimayuga is professional yet down to Earth. I appreciate the care and genuine concern from this office. Example: the head office person named Cherry is not only efficient, patient and kind she went way out of her way to find a last minute opening for me at an endodontics office in order for me to be seen before my trip. Way beyond her job scope, and she totally saved the day for me! Great team of people here!

This place has been like a family for 10 years for me. They are ahead of the game and make it all happen. Ive had alot of dental needs over the years and they really help to take care of me as I need.

Worst dental experience ever. I saw good reviews and decided to go there for a crown. I was horribly sore for 2 weeks after them working on it and struggled to chew at all. On top of that, my temporary crown broke the day after it was put on, so I had to go back for a new one. Then, when my permanent crown came back from the lab, it was done poorly and didn't fit, so they had to send out for a new one. So all in all 4 trips to the office to have one crown done, plus the most pain my mouth has ever been in. I was in tears when I left the office. THEN... less than a year later, my permanent crown broke. Straight up cracked and fell off. I had to go get if fixed (somewhere else, of course) and pay again for the same work. So, so, so frustrating and disappointing.

My new dentist! I transferred to Dr. D from my previous mediocre dentist who botched a crown replacement. Dr D, my hygienist Katie, and his entire staff are the BEST! If your teeth and gums are important to you Dr D and his crew are legit!

I have had painful experiences at other dentists in the past and as such, I have an absolute fear of going to the dentist. However, Dr. Dimayuga is the only dentist I've never had a bad or painful experience with. He is great; a quintessential professional. Plus, Dr. Dimayuga and his staff are caring and awesome. I had a scheduled appointment with them this afternoon to address a serious toothache. But, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was late for the appointment. Nonetheless, they still made time in their busy schedule and fit me in. They certainly did not have to do that!
