Calogero DiMaggio, DDS was born and raised in Astoria. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Fordham University in Chemistry in 2008. He then went on to New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2012. Dr. DiMaggio further enhanced his skills in all phases of dentistry by completing a general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in 2013. He completed an implant fellowship at Rutgers University in 2016. He has also been certified to provide Invisalign. He enjoys treating patients at every stage of life and restoring their beautiful smiles! He looks forward to giving back to the community that he loves and the neighbors that have shaped his life.

This is a great clinic with a very friendly suff. Dr. DiMaggio is a profesional, gentle, patient and he does a wonderfull job. I'm very happy with the care I received and I can't recommend it enough.

Very friendly place. Really clean and extremely soothing ambiance. I loved the layout of the office and the TV screens in the rooms displaying incredible images of nature. Dr. DiMaggio used the screen also to show me my X-rays which was phenomenal. Most importantly, I am absolutely petrified of the dentist's office. And I was made to feel very at ease.

Dr Dimaggioo is the best in the town . He is very professional and knowledgeable with his work. During the visit he will take all the time need it for the treatment , never rushing....... The assistant, the secretary are also very professional. The clinic is super clean !!!!!! I do recommend dental Dimaggioo.

Dr DiMaggio and his staff are extremely pleasant and so knowledgeable. My mom Angela needed a dentist she can trust also that is open on the weekends. I brought her here a year ago and he gave her a breakdown of what needed to be done. Because of a medical condition she had to wait but she finally went in to get the work done and like i mentioned before she felt great and trusted Dr DiMaggio and his staff. I will definitely recommend my friends here!

Dr. Dimaggio is wonderful. The whole staff is very friendly and super efficient. Start to finish, a positive experience especially when you consider no one LOVES going to the dentist. :) Clean, modern, great scenery of beautiful destinations on the big tvs, great overall experience!

I called the office for quite an emergency and the receptionist took me in within 2 hours. Dr.Dimaggio is very kind and calmly explain process of root canal to me nicely. The crew there are all very friendly and professional. Office is super clean too!

i wouldn't recommend having your night guard done here unfortunately.. it took two tries and even after two impressions, two different guards, it still sits funny, but i don't want to go back because it'll be my fifth visit at that point and who knows if that'll fix it? my previous dentist never had an issue but not here... now i can't speak on cleaning skills because i never got that done, but the night guard was a flop even after adjustments... $300 because insurance doesn't cover it. EDIT: I ordered a custom night guard from enCore on Amazon. It is about $100 and you do it by yourself. I have been using it regularly and am pleased with the results. I would look into that option instead of going here. EDIT EDIT: Take a look at my attached photos. The night guard on the left was from DiMaggio Dental and worn for a few weeks. It is dull, worn down, and has a lumpy shape. The impression was never made correctly and had to be sawed down repeatedly to no avail. The night guard on the right was made by enCore & I've been wearing for a few months now. The impression is correct, which I made myself, and the material is great. I'm the average teeth grinder and was not able to find a decent night guard by DiMaggio Dental that I looked for other options. When I find a decent local dentist, I'll go through them but I'm having to use online options for now

Dr. DiMaggio and everyone on his staff are amazing, friendly, and efficient. Dr. DiMaggio is detail oriented in his examination and questioning, and really cares about your long-term dental health. Logistics were seamless: I made the appointment via Zocdoc, filled out the new patient forms via Zocdoc, and the front desk had it printed and ready to review/sign when I arrived. Wait time when I arrived was 0. They are open weekends which is a HUGE plus. The office itself is clean, brand new, and large - really kind of luxurious. A+ for Bobby's relaxing music and travel videos!

My husband and I are both impressed with the practice - the dentist and office manager have been wonderful in working with my husband who is a stroke survivor and has aphasia. We do not have dental insurance, and the prices for services are competitive. Dental work isn't cheap, but my goodness it's your mouth and your health so it is well worth the investment. The office is new, clean, and well-run. We are very happy to have found this practice and would highly recommend them!
