After seeing a few not so good reviews I wanted to leave a good one. My husband and both children had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. DiLeo. We were very pleased with our experiences there and had no issues or complaints.

As great of an experience I could have had getting my wisdom teeth removed. Very nice staff and Doctor. Very little pain afterwards and recovered fast.

Dr. Christopher DiLeo and the late Dr. Ronald DiLeo are renown in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. While I share the last name of this practice, I can assure you, my review is unbiased. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Christopher DiLeo addressed my broken jaw after it was hit with a baseball, Dr. DiLeo removed all of my wisdom teeth and Dr. DiLeo extracted one of my molars. Chris has a pleasant bedside manner, takes EVERY necessary precaution to ensure a successful outcome and remains progressive in the latest oral surgery procedures and technologies. As far as the negative reviews regarding the front office, let's try be OBJECTIVE. Everyone everywhere needs to refrain from food and have someone transport them home after being put to sleep for surgery. That's been standard operating procedure for all medical procedures requiring anesthesia for literally a century! I tried to have coffee prior to a procedure and Dr. DiLeo, my cousin, SENT ME HOME! So, you can know he practices what he preaches- SAFETY FIRST! Plus, the notion that folks expect the dental assistants to hold their hand and give them a hug before and after anesthesia is completely unreasonable! Additionally, insurance companies and dental benefits are almost oxymorons. So complaining about the tardiness of the front office when it pertains to information re: coverage and benefits is completely unreasonable. Honestly, if you are looking for an oral surgeon, Dr. DiLeo is the best. Truly.

Stay away! You will regret coming here. Big waste of time. Unprofessional & uncaring staff, including the doctor.

Let me start by saying that I went to a Dr. Dileo years ago as my GP. I am sure the doctor himself is a lovely person, but I never got to see him due the the incompetency of his front end person. When I made the appointment, I immediately gave her my insurance numbers. I then, made the appointment. It was only the day before the surgery, that I was informed that there were some fussy requirements about fasting for six hours, and having to be accompanied by someone waiting on the premises. My travel plans were made two days before, and my person had to do another errand while I was there. My driver was not my emergency support contact person, and they never even asked for this information beforehand. The receptionist took me to a desk alcove and plopped several papers in front of me while saying, "You realize you are responsible for today's surgery". "No, I was not aware of that. I gave you my insurance numbers when I made the appointment." (And I had to wait a month for my appointment.) Then she bald-faced lied to me saying, "We called you about this--several times, in fact". She never called about this! In fact, I had to call her to get any information about anything. "Don't even!" I told her. I am tired of people telling me they did things that they didn't!" I had a similar experience with my regular dentist's staff. And just look at how stupid her lie was. Why would I have to hear the message SEVERAL times that they did not take my insurance?! I even gave her the benefit of the doubt checking my voicemails and phone records. It is getting harder and harder to lie about "I tried to reach you but..." with the records our cell phones keep. Overall, her attitude came across as very snotty--my driver had a different word for it!

DiLeo is good at what he does, but his assistants and receptionists are going to have customers running for the hills. My little sister was due for her wisdom teeth removal. My family called early to say they had car trouble, but were going to be on time. They were told over the phone it would be no issue. They were 1 block away and they got a call at 8:25 saying their appointment for 8:30 was canceled. (Showed on the iPhone clock, we don't deal with incorrect time) There was no budging. Honestly ridiculous considering people have to wait months for these appointments, they were on time, and even made the effort to call with an update on their situation. They asked over the phone when we wanted to reschedule--Never????? I came here years ago to have 4 wisdom teeth removed. There was no friendly chit chat before the procedure, just silence while I waited to be put under. I tried to make friendly chat with the dental assistant and pretty much got ignored. When I woke back up afterwards, again no friendliness, just woke up and was told to gather my belongings to move. The assistant didn't even look at me when she spoke, but just continued grabbing her used equipment and then guided me out. It was very alarming to wake up after surgery and be immediately told to get up and leave the space. I give credit where it's due- my wisdom removal healed fine. Minimal swelling on my end. The corners of my mouth though were ripped slightly and took a week to heal. I was never going to write a review, but after my experience AND my little sister's I don't recommend coming here unless you have no where else to go. The job you need will get done, but clearly customer care and service is not something they care about. We mentioned our incident to other nurse friends, and they all said go to Dr Miller instead.

I needed to have another wisdom tooth extracted. My dentist suggested Dr. DiLeo. Tooth was extracted by Dr. DiLeo the way he explained to me with no issues..very minimal discomfort. His staff is very professional..everyone seemed to care even during this pandemic. I was very pleased with the result.
