Dr. Hazdovac is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, American Society of Forensic Odontology, and Association of Croatian American Professionals.
Dr. Elena Herediais a native Californian who attended the University of California, Davis where she majored in Biological Studies. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of California, San Francisco. Upon her graduation, she was recognized as the Dean's scholar for demonstrating outstanding academic achievement and community service.
Since her graduation from dental school, Dr. Heredia strivesto provide quality dental care with genuine commitment to the overall well-being of her patients. Dr. Heredia maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
Dr. Heredia was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She later relocated to Sacramento where she discovered her passion for dentistry. She is fluent is Spanish and resides in San Francisco with her family.
Cristina is dedicated to providing our patients with an amazing experience, beginning with the first phone call and continuing on throughout their visits. She grew up in Napa Valley and has been in the dental field for over nineteen years and loves it! The best part of her job is helping patients understand how important oral health care is. She is also a fabulous dental assistant. Cristina makes sure everyone feels at home and leaves the office with a smile.She loves to have fun while working.
Helen Alfaro Ruiz was born and raised in the ExcelsiorDistrict of San Francisco and graduated from San Francisco State University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and later pursued science which motivated her to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Helen is bilingual in Spanish and is a wonderfultranslator to ourSpanish speaking patients.
Ana Guadalupe Calero was born and raised in Nicaragua. She graduated from UNIJJAR in Managua, Nicaragua as a Dentist and managed her own clnic for a year. She recently moved to San Francisco where she is able to keep working in the field as a Dental Assistant. One of her goals is to continue learning in the dental field so she can continue educating our patients. Ana is bilingual in Spanish and she loves serving her community by helping others.
Tanya is born and raised in the Bay Area and a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley where she majored in Development Studies with an emphasis in Latin America. During her time at Cal, she was recognized for her commitment to serving her community as well as her contribution to research in community development. Her first language was Spanish and practices the most with her grandmother who is also creating a cookbook with her.
In her down time she loves running in Golden Gate Park, Lands End, and trying all the good food the city has to offer. She enjoys live music events, hanging out with her cat Olive, cooking and eating with loved ones, traveling, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Google reviews led me to their dental practice, and luckily they were not less impressive as people at the Diente Dental. One important thing was their attitude, which was marvelous. Kind, transparent, respectful. Second important thing was the cleanliness of the dentistry. I was very glad to see it sparkle. Also a little thoughtful surprise at the end of my visit.

This was the BEST dentist experience ever. The staff is so friendly and warm, quick to get results and referrals, just all around a wonderful experience. They also use high technology for their equipment which is super impressive and innovative!

I've had new patient dental exams and the first half of a deep cleaning procedure (didn't get to the dentist during quarantine), and this place is awesome! I had been really nervous about finding the right dentist for a long time. Finding the right person to care for my teeth is a huge priority (and can feel stressful). Feeling strong trust is really important when someone's doing work on my body. Dr. Alicia Hazdovac has been phenomenal in doing excellent dental work, helping me to feel safe, and in communicating the most important and relevant aspects of the work she's doing for my dental health. I feel like they're on my side rather than trying to sell me anything I don't need. I highly recommend this place!

Booked an appt via Zocdoc after reading some reviews. The office was very clean, zero wait time, and Dr Alicia was very professional and attentive. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dentist.

The dentist, Dr. Hazdovac, was great. But the other staff made me feel like a criminal. There was a problem with my insurance, but they didn't tell me until after I completed my appt even though I sent them my insurance card days in advance, which was sketchy. I told them I needed to follow up with my HR to figure out the problem (my company switched dental insurance providers). They then followed up twice in the two hours after my appt asking for an out of pocket payment and said if I didn't pay within one hour my account would be overdue and they would add late fees. It felt like a shake down. I've never had such a negative experience at a providers office

So happy I found this dental office and dentist. Welcoming, efficient, kind, friendly and ever so good at what they do. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the place! I had the honor of having Dr. Heredia. She was wonderful. There are other dentists at this office as well.

This was my 4th or so visit to Diente Dental with Dr Hazdovac. Everyone was friendly and thorough and they always properly explain to me what work I'm there for and when I might need followups.
