Dr Joseph DiTullio has been practicing dentistry in Woburn, MA since 1985. He graduated from Woburn High School in 1976 and entered Tufts University, where he majored in Chemical Engineering, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, was elected Class President, and graduated in 1983. He applied and was accepted in a General Practice Residency at Tufts Medical Center, and was recruited to be the first Senior Resident in the program. His private practice began in Woburn after finishing his residency. He began a teaching career at Tufts Dental School, and also taught at the Brigham Dental Group at Brigham and Womens Hospital in the mid 1980s. Dr DiTullio has continued teaching at Tufts, and has been the only dentist from Woburn at Tufts for his career. He is also an active participant in the Massachusetts Dental Society, acting as District Chair for the East Middlesex District, and was Co-Chair for the Yankee Dental Congress in 2000.
Dr DiTullio has always been involved in sports. He captained his high school baseball team and played baseball, basketball, and ran cross country. He pitched for 4 years at Tufts University. Cycling and fitness training round out a busy lifestyle.
