Dr. Docia Hogan grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota. She attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, graduating with honors and a double major in Biology and Spanish. After completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2003, Dr. Hogan served for four years in the United States Army on active duty as a Captain at Fort Riley, Kansas. She returned to Minnesota to practice general dentistry in the Twin Cities and joined Koubsky Dental, now dh Dental Care, in the fall of 2011.
She enjoys building strong patient relationships and treating people of all ages with their dental needs in a comfortable environment. Her emphasis is on prevention and patient education, creating and maintaining healthy smiles for a lifetime. Dr. Hogan is a lifelong learner. She has completed courses in the areas of pediatric care, implant restoration, cosmetic dentistry and periodontal health. She has had the opportunity to combine her dental skills and love of travel by participating in dental mission trips to Jamaica and Honduras. Dr. Hogan is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the Great River Study Club for dental professionals.
Marsha has worked in the dental field for more than 30 years. She attended St. Cloud Technical College for dental assisting and then transitioned to the front desk, finding it to be the perfect fit for her! Marsha strives to provide our patients with professional and personal attention to each of their individual dental needs.
Marsha and her husband have property up north which they have been working on for many years. As she says, it will continue to be a work in progress, but it is where they love to be. Her passion for photography comes into play up there with shots of nature and the outdoors being her main focus.
Katy has been in the dental field since 1997. She started working as a dental receptionist, then went on to dental assisting and then went back to school for dental hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist since 2003 and would describe her career as one of her passions. Katy is a dental hygiene mentor and is an active member on the dental hygiene advisory board at St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
Kristin is Dr. Hogans assistant. She attended Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, MN where she received her AAS degree in dental assisting. She has been a dental assistant for over ten years and finds joy in working with patients and finds joy in building relationships with her patients. Kristin spends her spare time with her family and friends gardening, crafting, and driving her two kids around to their many activities!
Jessi graduated from St. Cloud Technical and Community Colleges dental hygiene program and joined dh Dental Care in 2012. She is sometimes referred to as the office whistler, always whistling a tune away as she works. Jessi loves being a part of the community, and spends as much time as possible working with people of all ages from pre-school to the nursing home, educating them about the importance of proper dental care.
Away from the office, Jessi can be found anywhere from fishing out on the lake, to hunting the vast forests of St. Wendel, blasting away on her saxophone as part of Sartells Community Band, playing with her yellow lab, Chewy, or taking a break from it all in the yoga studio.
You'll find Kat at the front desk with Marsha. She specializes in insurance plans and dental claims and has worked in the dental field for over 15 years. Kat finds joy in helping her patients become more knowledgeable about their insurance policies.
Melissa has been a dental assistant for 21 years and loves working with patients! She's been married for 15 years and has three children, a mini goldendoodle, and a siamese cat. Her hobbies include taking walks, going for bike rides with her family, and enjoying sitting on her porch sipping her coffee while watching nature.

Before coming to DH it had been nearly 20 years since I had seen a dentist. I felt so ashamed of the state my teeth were in but I was in pain and needed to do something. Katy and Dr Hogan have been so reassuring and did not make feel ashamed of my teeth one bit. Over the last year and a half I have gotten my teeth to a place I can be proud of with the help of Dr Hogan and her team. Kat and Marsha at the front desk have also been to helpful with scheduling and billing. I highly recommend DH Dental they will take great care of you.

As a newcomer to dh Dental, I can confidently say that it was my most enjoyable dental experience I've ever had. Jessi is fantastic at her job and very fun to chat with.(I've also heard amazing things about Katy from my significant other!) Dr. Hogan was also extremely personable and is definitely an expert in her field. From the time I walked in the door I felt welcomed and happy to be there. I could not recommend this wonderful group of people more if I tried.

I have been a customer of DH dental for years and I have always been pleased with the service and attention I have received. Marsha at the front desk is a total sweetheart! Jessi and Katy are fantastic hygienists and Dr. Hogan is top notch. All the ladies are great really. I'd happily recommend this dental office to anyone seeking dental work.

You will not find more educated, caring, respectful and friendly staff than dh Dental! Dr. Hogan walks through every procedure and truly cares about her patients. I dh Dental care! My hygienist, Katy, is fun and does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Docia Hogan is very knowledgeable and I trust her recommendations. The clinic also has the latest equipment, which makes x-rays easy.

DH Dental puts a smile on your face and helps you keep it there. From the early days of Dr. Koubsky to the now Dr. Hogan, our family have been regulars for over 25 years. Their professionalism, personalities and performance have always been of the upmost. They have always been implementing new things and certainly have been on the COVID forefront with the highest safety regards to you as a patient. From the ever present, front desk friendly face of Marsha and Kat, to the personable hygienists Katy and Jessi, to Dr. Hogan's assistant Kristen and Dr. Hogan herself, the fine staff are there to meet your dental needs.
