Dr. Maria Shahdad spent years in Texas before moving to New York to realize her career in dental medicine. She and her family then moved to California before coming back home to Texas. She is an exceptional dentist whose clinical expertise and warm personality go hand in hand to provide you with outstanding quality and care in cosmetic, Invisalign, implant and general dentistry.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Shahdad has devoted herself to giving each patient a personalized approach to their concerns in an atmosphere of maximum comfort and care. Her innovative dental techniques paired with an artistic eye and affinity for perfectionism ensures beautiful and natural smiles for her patients. At Dr. Shahdads dental office, great emphasis is placed on detail, aesthetics, a natural result, a caring team, and a comfortable dental office environment.
Specifically, Dr. Shahdad is also experienced with pediatrics, root canals, prosthodontics, fillings, extractions, and emergency care and has licenses with both the California and Texas State Dental Board (since 2008). She is also fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Kashmiri.

Dr. Shahdad and her staff have been amazing!!! Over and above considerate, generous, flexible and creative with communication to serve my friend with limited English language. It has been an honor and privilege to meet this dental team! I highly recommend them and their excellent dental care!

Dr. Shahdad and Veronica are amazing to work with! They are so accommodating with my schedule and always find a way to squeeze me in with an appointment even if it's last minute. They are efficient and thorough, and recently have been so helpful with fitting me with a comfortable nightguard. I travel frequently and they are accessible for advice even when I am out of town!

Dr Shahdad and her staff are very friendly and professional. Even though I moved some 15 minutes away, I've kept going because her service is so good, and we have great conversations everytime. She won't keep the truth from you, tells it like it is. They work with you and your schedule, they don't make anything stressful. I highly recommend!

Absolute great service from Dr. Maria Shahdad and her team, specially Veronica. This place is great in every aspect. My whole family have been patients of Dr. Shahdad since 2015 and our experiences have always been very satisfactory. From a crown replacement, deep cleaning, and my invisalign treatment. Dr. Shahdad and her staff have always show empathy for her patients. She really care for her patients. I am extremely happy with the care they have provided to me and my family through the years. Just had my Just had my Crown completed . Excellent job, the doctor takes times for seat the crown and makes sure is fitting properly. I continue to be very pleased with DFW, Dr. Shahdad and his top notch staff. As a side note all reasonable safeguards were implemented to protect patients and staff during these challenging times of the Covid 19 pandemic. Thank you DFW for taking care of my family.

The team at Absolute Dental is exceptional. I had several procedures done with Dr. Shahdad. She took the time to explain in detail all the options available and worked with me to maximize insurance coverage. Dr. Shahdad really cares about her patients, I was experiencing pain on a Saturday, and she came in on her day off to performed bite adjustments. I cannot emphasize enough how professional and caring the team is. Highly recommend it.

Dr.Shahdad and Veronica are the best team my wife and I have ever been to. Dr.Shahdad takes her time and does very high quality work. We went to Dr.Shahdad after having a terrible experience with another dentist. Dr.Shahdad and Veronica have been very concerned about us and trying to get us out of the pain the other dentist put us in and she did a great job. She is a very genuine person who really cares about her patients. I would definitely recommend her and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Update October 2020: I am still very happy with Dr. Shahdad's office. I was initially putting off my routine dental care because I am in the higher risk category for Covid-19 due to problems with my immune system. The staff reassured me and are being very careful to keep the building clean and safe during this pandemic. Only 1 patient is seen at a time, patients and staff wear covers over shoes, patients wash their hands and gargle with antiseptic mouthwash before entering the exam room. They also clean every surface in the room between each patient, it is crystal clear that patient safety is their number one goal. I feel very safe coming here, and am now back on my regular cleaning schedule. If some additional tests or treatments are recommended, they let you know what the cost will be beforehand, so again, I really appreciate that there are no surprises. I am now pushing my mom to become a patient of hers, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a dentist. Original Review: I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Shahdad and her office. First of all the office is very clean and quiet. They use cameras and a large screen, so you can see everything that is going on in your mouth, and they explain the x-rays in layman terms. After visiting with the doctor, the hygienist sat with me as long as I needed to answer all of my questions. I do need more work done than I thought, but I could also see exactly what is wrong. They don't leave you guessing about charges or what your treatment plan is, so there are no surprises which is great at the dentist!
