We have been taking our son to see Dr. Dexter for many years without issue. We were in the process of moving and unknowingly missed our son's appointment. They did not contact us prior to the appointment or after it was missed. My wife called to set up an appointment and was told that Dr. Dexter would not see our son unless we paid $200 for the missed appointment. We were told there was nothing that could be done because Dr. Dexter made the decision. They would not woek with us at all. The receptionist was extremely rude and condescending stating that yes $200 is a lot of money, but the staff was there and the lights were on costing them money. When I mentioned the staff and lights would have been on anyway, she told me it sure helps when there is someone in the chair paying for it. I was never naive enough to believe that they were not about making money, but I was fooled into believing that Dr. Dexter actually cared about his patients, which we now know is not true, it is only about the money. They would not offer ro work with us at all, it was either pay $200 or not be seen again. Basically pay the extortion, or find a new dentist. We asked to have our son's records sent to us and will be finding a new dentist. The front desk staff is rude, condescending and unwelcoming. I do not recommend Dr. Scott Dexter at all. He makes you feel valued, when the only thing he values is the patient's money and not the patient. Don't fall for his charade, find a different dentist.

Don't even deserve a one star. We didn't show up because we were getting tested for covid and omg god forbid I held off from calling them to let them know because we were all sick. They sent us a $200 bill and won't accept my kids back until it's paid. Literally just found this place and screw them. Won't ever recommend them!

I enjoyed this dentist office as a child myself. Now my kids get their teeth cleaned here also. Great staff. My kids love going to the dentist!

All 4 of my children have seen Dr Dexter and they've all had great cleaning and fillings ( when needed) no complains. All have wonderful teeth!

My three year old sons teeth were simply a train wreck. Dr Dexter fixed them up great. I have no complaints and they walk you through each step. He has called the evening of major work being done to be sure my son was doing ok. Scheduling can sometimes be an issue as they are in very high demand. There are simply very few that do the invasive procedures on children that he does. Thank you!

Nothing but good experience. They prefer children to go by themselves in the exam room which actually worked with my son. I was a little anxious about it at first, but I have to admit that he did better without me. Dr. Dexter was very detailed about treatment plan and gave a great explanation on the x-ray.

It took us four weeks of phone tag to get our initial appt. He said my daughter has two cavities that need to be filled under sedation. That was three weeks ago and the incredibly rude and condescending receptionist still won't book the cavity-filling appointment. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls; the office is empty of patients. Worst of all--their policy during cavity filling is to sedate the children and then separate them from the parents. What mother would allow her young, vulnerable daughter to be completely alone with an adult male for over an hour?? In the age of Larry Nassar I cannot believe any medical professional would require this practice. We have moved on to another dentist. This place gives me the creeps.

They just called us and ask to change our son dentist in a month before his next appointment. It was very very rude behaviour.

After looking for doctor for our kid for quite some time, and interviewing few doctors for his dental treatment, we were referred to Dr. Dexters office and boy we are glad. Dr. Dexter was very thorough and upfront about the treatment plan for our kid. He explained the treatment plan to us in detail and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We had to visit 3times as there were couple of extractions, filling and spacers involved. His office even shared his cell phone number with us in case we need to call him, in case our child was experiencing pain. The drive to Dr. Dexter's office was about 1.5hours for us but it was all worth it. After every treatment Dr. Dexter would call personally in the evening to inquire about how the child was doing and behaving, and offer suggestions and guidance on how to help the kid if he had any sort of pain. This shows his concern for the well being of his patient which at least to us is truly outstanding and commendable. What else can a parent ask for. We are very thankful to Dr. Dexter and his staff for helping our child and recommend him.

The office was clean and had a nice toy filled area for the kids. Dds Scott was great with my 4 yr old daughter. He was very thorough explaining her x-rays.
