Plus, they continue to expand their knowledge and skills through active memberships in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, Washington Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Ludu hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. When he was a child, he constantly dreamed of becoming a professional ice hockey player in the NHL like most boys in Canada, but eventually, he decided he was better suited to a life of dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Ludu has practiced in several states, including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Arizona. He eventually decided to make Washington State his home. Our patients enjoy his impressive level of experience, his precise skill, his speed, as well as his ability to keep advanced procedures like root canal therapy and extractions virtually painless. He is fully committed to both his valued patients and our wonderful staff members.
Dr. Ludu attended the University of British Columbia and earned a bachelors in biochemistry with a minor in chemistry. From there, he proceeded to the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, eventually obtaining his doctorate. He also met his wonderful wife at Tufts! In addition to his schooling, Dr. Ludu attended an advanced surgical training course at Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York, and he has completed numerous continuing education courses on topics such as implantology and endodontics (the study of root canals) over the past three decades. He has also undergone a mini residency in dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Sharma spent her early years in North Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her approach to patient care is always infused with her love for family, her natural maternal instinct, and her high level of clinical experience. She enjoys being a part of a dental office that is of the mom and pop style. She helps our patients receive the personalized treatment they deserve and always reviews their options with them in a simple and straightforward manner.
Dr. Sharma attended Boston College and graduated with her bachelors in biology and mathematics before moving onto the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Later, she chose to undertake a year-long General Practice Residency at the Boston VA Medical Center. During that time, her care was primarily focused on patients with medically compromised head and neck oncology. She then provided quality general dental care to patients in New York and New Jersey at demanding dental offices before deciding to bring her skills to Washington State over 20 years ago.

If you're thinking about going to the dentist but feel worried look no further than devoted family dentist. This place is amazing. From the moment the receptionist takes your call, the care and effort to make you feel comfortable is felt. They offer every service you could need, and were very prompt and professional. Each person I encountered there was warm, friendly, and put my fears at ease. The dentist was wonderful, skilled, and encouraging and I look forward to making this my permanent dentist. Not many people love going to the dentist, but this practice makes it just about as enjoyable as it can be. Highly recommend!

Best dental office in the whole world! I love this whole team! First off you can literally pick what dentist you will be more comfortable with wofe or husband. Can't even explain what thos means for me and how much I appreciate it. Second the entire team is one big unit trying to do what's best for you. I needed a deep clean and had booked the second part of it and put it in my calendar incorrectly. I then showed up hours late completely frantic I wouldn't be able to be seen. Of course they made room for me and even took the blame like it was some how there fault. Every time I come in i get yreated with respect and like I'm family. Truly want to say thank you for making the dentist the easiest and best experience you can.

Had the best experience today at DFD! I haven't been to the dentist in longer than I'd like to admit, so naturally I was nervous and a bit embarrassed going in for my first appointment. The appointment was amazing! The receptionist was so welcoming when I came in, and helpful and patient when I checked out and scheduled future appointments. The assistant was so nice and she explained everything she was doing as she worked. The dentist was also nice and super funny! Everyone was just so great and not judgmental at all. Over all I'm just really happy and relieved to be on my way to a healthy mouth and actually looking forward to my upcoming visits! Never would have thought I would say that haha. Highly recommend.

Myself, my wife and daughter have been going to Devoted Family Dental for almost a year now. Dr. Ludu's a bonafide badass when it comes to wisdom teeth and surgical work. Kari at the front desk, the dental assistants and Dr. Sharma are all genuinely a great team that'll make a believe out of anyone with dental chair anxiety. While I agree you can't not hate a dentist I promise they will be the dentist you hate the least!

This place is wonderful. The office is warm and comfortable. The staff is be plant and explains everything very well. Dr. Ludu was great, you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and only recommends services that are truly need.

Staff was all very friendly, each one greeted me and the receptionist explained everything about my insurance very well. The dental assistant was very nice and personable. The dentist was funny, explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood what was going on and what I needed. I would definitely recommend.

I was skeptical , hoping that this was not a corporate dental office- but the doctor saw my husband right away with an infected tooth on a Sunday, and then when I brought my two girls (12 and 6) they did amazing and were helpful in motivating them to brush their teeth without a war from now on. I am very grateful to the staff and their care, flexibility and positive chair side manner.

Had an excellent experience, they deserve way more than 5 stars! Everyone is truly amazing at this office from the front desk to the dental assistant to the Dr! They are polite, professional, and go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant one. I recently moved to the area and was a little nervous about finding a new dentist, as I didn't have any recommendations. Basically, I just looked for providers in my network and am so glad I chose Devoted Family Dental, as the care I received was top notch! As soon as I was done with my appointment, I scheduled one for my husband, as I knew it was the right place for us. It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Ludo last week and look forward to meeting Dr. Sharma.

The staff was very friendly. From the moment of appointment through seeing the Dentist and follow up there have been no snags. They didn't push any agenda, they just told me what I should have a look at and I mad the choice. Most dentist offices I've been to push so many different services. It was nice how simple this was.

I love this dentist office! They truly are a wonderful family team and the staff are so kind! The husband and wife team do professional work and they take their time to ensure your comfort and put you at ease (I tend to have a little anxiety). I highly recommend this dentist office! They are indeed a devoted family!

The two dentists are both wonderful! The husband has filled my cavities and the wife does my general cleanings. She goes above and beyond for her patients. One of the times that I went there I asked for fluoride even if my insurance doesn't cover it because I am very prone to cavities and it helps protect my teeth. She said " even if your insurance doesn't cover it, we will get it for you at no charge." Beyond that, it's common for me to stay and chat with the assistant, the front staff, and the main dentist long after my appointment because they are all just so kind and friendly!
